Great job on the countdown and I figured you show your least fav to your all time favorite as I know ya, and look forward to your big Land Before Time review when the year ends, as it is still a timeless masterpiece. :D (Plus SPike still rules! XD) I'll admit I still have All Dogs go to Heaven as a personal favorite of mine, but with what you said, yeah the story can be aimless, barely active role from Carface the main villain, until the climax/third act (not even a villain song) and be weak, plus you do have the TV series and Christmas Carol you'll be dreaded to see (can't be worse than All Dogs 2 XD), but we do have different tastes and I respect that. But what All Dogs did right, it does with it's highest highs..... (And Love Survives is still a beautiful song.) You came this far Rasior and glad DOn Bluth & Gary Goldman made a great impact for us and why I they are still along my influences when I do my own stories one day...... Good luck with your future videos pal and I'll still comment on each of them. :)

Well, I watched it with them and guess what? I was confused and bored too. I didn't mind the animation as much (you're totally right on the backgrounds though, like yeesh), but the movie was forgotten the moment it ended. I do think the ending to Anastasia was rushed a bit, mainly the climax with Rasputin. But the "liar reveal" was understandable. Dimitri was confident that Ayna would be instantly recognized because she is the princess. He says "if you'd just look at her" to her Grandma Marie. He was originally going to use the music box to trick Marie into thinking whoever he brought with him was the princess. In this case the box wasn't needed because she's the real deal. The music box would have worked in the first scene too, but it was too hectic and he wasn't expecting to be outed as a con man then thrown out. He had to get her in a secluded area where she was forced to listen. Even then the box was to show that he was that little boy, and she owes enough to him to indulge his request to see Anya. Even then, she at first doesn't recognize Anya, calling her a good actor. The box still wasn't enough. Anya recognizing the smell of her perfume and knowing the story of spilling it is what convinced Marie to start to believe it. The flow of scenes still felt natural and the script followed the "show don't tell" rule well.

I agree that we shouldn’t gloss over Gary Goldman and his work with Don Bluth. It’s kinda how I feel about Isao Takahata is sometimes forgotten about when Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli are brought up. Although I do have a bias towards Miyazaki’s films over the other directors from the studio, I acknowledge that Takahata’s role as colleague and co-founder of Ghibli is partly the reason why Ghibli has become successful in the first place. Plus, I think Takahata’s contribution as producer in Miyazaki’s earlier films (i.e. “Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind” & “Castle In The Sky”) are the reason why those films leave such an emotional, memorable impact on so many people, and would be the blueprint for much of Ghibli films going forward. Long story short, I think the same can be said about Gary Goldman and his relationship with Don Bluth as well.

At least Jim wasn't a jerk with girls and he didn't fight aliens with boring designs. Also, i can't remember any scene from this movie. It's really bad! The animation is good and the music too but it's not enough to make this film memorable 😐 Thumbelina is ok to me. I like the songs and the animation, the music is sumptuous. 11. Only saw this 2 or 3 times, and I was pretty ambivalent towards it. At least some of the visuals were neat. 10. In my book, Worst! Bluth Movie! EVER! 9. A rotten egg no doubt, but I'll admit there's a few amusing moments for me. You can blame nostalgia on that. 8. I like the animation, two of the songs and the Gilbert Gottfried beetle, but everything else was weak. Also, I really hate that harlequin bird. 7. Outside of some story issues, I'd say this was still a good dog. 6. Enjoyed this as a kid, not quite so much as an adult. Although, the colors and arctic backgrounds are somewhat captivating, most of the songs were pleasant, and Rocko was a decent character. 5. Up until the villain turned into a dragon, I was rather bored by this one. 4. Historically inaccurate? Yes. Still a fair flick? Yes. 3. Yeah, I also wish we got more of Tiger here. Beyond that, it's a great piece of historical fiction. 2. A wonderful source of dark storytelling, and with one of the best mothers in animation. 1. This is also my favorite from Bluth, even if its partly because of both nostalgia and my love of dinosaurs.

As much as I love the Land Before Time. I think my favorite out of the 3 would still be An American Tail. I can't say the Secret of Nimh, because I have honestly never gotten around to seeing that one, but I love An American Tail. I think the reason why I love it so much is because of my love for history, especially American History, and being Irish descent. An American Tail maybe the weakest out of the 3, but it really dove into just how immigrants were truly exploited by the corrupt politicians and how even to this day, that there are still flaws in America.
