My number one is Mothership 1 - Subliminal. Cool tones + blue = MY ACTUAL HEAVEN 😭 Its so versatile. And as you so rightly said, the layerability is a thing to behold. The black with a special shade layered on is my weakness.

Same here! I use it for a brown smokey eye, a black one, the black shadow as a liner, the special shades one their own, the blue (perfection!) as a liner or all over, the lilac shimmer for a more romantic date with the husband look ... so many options! I love this palette!

I recommend swatching and layering all the pallets with the special shades. They frequently expand the colors you have.

Subversive is my absolute favorite PML Mothership palette. I love all my palettes but I really thought I’d use Divine Rose I and II more or Bronze Seduction but Subversive has the best, most beautiful one and done shades-so much so that I keep going back to it more than any other. Subversive is so fun to wear! I originally bought Midnight Sun because of the purple shade, but once it came I fell in love with the green in the palette 💚

My absolute favourite (I have 7 of the large motherships) is 2 sublime. It’s is completely underrated and the green is the most beautiful emerald colour ever created. The pink duo chrome is also amazing. The satins act line mats and can be used in the crease. It’s soooo good. I hope you pick it up before your next updated ranking. It’s my ride or die

Lolol! • Divine Rose 2 ~ such a fun 🤩 summer palette that I can wear all year round. • Huetopian ~ Divine Rose 2 on steroids! Lol! Those Blitz Astrals are THE MOST GLITTERY IRRIDESCENT of all her Motherships and you need to reign them in with her glitter pen otherwise they’ll land everywhere and you’ll be a glitter ✨🧚🏻‍♀️✨. Not that I’m not adverse to that especially in the summer where you’ll twinkle at your highest degree and make a statement for sure! 🤩😂💫💥☀️🕶 Subversive ~ this one has a history as it was my very FIRST ans initially my favorite of them all when Dame Mother came out with her first 3 Motherships. But I sold it thinking it was too grungy/smokey for everyday use ~ and Momma must wear my Motherships to get the groceries oker!! 😎 I must’ve been mad when I did it and immediately regretted. 🤦‍♀️🤪😩😭 So I just repurchased it and will be doing a full week deep dive of my rebought Subversive to celebrate it back coming 🏡 to Momma! So hard to choose which one..but I love my Divine Rose 2 for glam looks, Divine Rose 1 is perfect everyday wear including special shades, Celestial Odyssey has such good range of colours. I wasn’t expecting much from Interstellar Icon, but the Blue Blood and Divine Dahlia just took me by surprise and I love those shades. 💙

I really love midnight sun as well. There is just something about it. I believe it’s because the color story is not so one-directional and of course there are three matte shades. You can pull so many different looks out of that palette.

So surprised to see Midnight Sun as #1! This is far and away my favorite of the Motherships, yet it places in the bottom of most creators' rankings. Also love Celestial Odyssey--I turn to this beauty to liven up other palettes.

I have recently picked up subliminal in the last sale. Absolutely love it. The fleur fantasia quad is nice for spring.

I so, so enjoyed that, I always adore you anyway, but it was just so much fun to hear you talk about Pat's shadows. I only have 5 palates. I'm wearing Mothership Subliminal Platinum Bronze today (which would be my no 5 just because all the colours are quite dark for me, even the lightest) - I have to be in a smokey-eye mood. I couldn't choose between my top 3 and those you have too (Subliminal and Divine Rose I & II). I don't have Midnight Sun, I think I may have to sit on my hands for a while but it looks wonderful.

You’ll never believe me when I say that midnight sun and the bronze one was in TK Maxx for only £68 and I unfortunately couldn’t afford it at the time and it disappeared way before payday, And I will always kick myself for not getting it over food LOL. ❤️❤️

My number one is Celestial Odyssey because you can get so many looks out of it. It is really great value for money and I love using the cool toned shimmers with the mattes from Divine Rose 🥰

I just picked up subversive and I’m loving it!! Wearing it today and I think it’s my number 2 now. I’m still all about the Divine Rose II😍🥵… It just makes me so happy every time I wear it. I totally get why you love midnight sun though. It’s much more wearable for most. Great video! I always enjoy seeing other peoples rankings.

Wonderful description I only have Bridgerton 1 and Huetopian Dream and love them both. I've stared at others online and get flat out steed because there is no way to do a Mothers pallette justice viewing it online it must be experienced.

I have 6 of the 9 Mothership palettes, both of the holiday palettes, Diamond of the First water, the 6 pan rose palette, several quads and several singles and my favourite of the bunch is Celestial Odyssey followed by Subliminal. Anything after that depends on my mood on the day.

My favorite quad is the interstellar, so subjective. That blue is my favorite and I can do a complete look with it, using the dark shade in the crease. Second favorite quad is risqué Rose. My number one is probably the Divine Rose 2, not sure though. I love them all. I am a more pink than neutral person. Wearing the Divine Rose 1 today for that lovely peach shade.

So subjective, right?! I actually sold Risqué Rose - the pink is way too much on my super fair skin and the beautiful lilac looks like tin-man silver on me. But Interstellar icon?! Ugh… one of my faves!

I recently depotted my celestial divinity palette because I don't ever reach for it due to its incoherent colour story. Now it's with my singles, I'm hoping I would use it more.

My number 1 & 2 are exactly the same, with Decadence at 3….. I never use the others much these days, as you say they cycle & we evolve….maybe it’s time I push myself to use them more!!

I will always love Divine Rose II best but I love Subversive and Decadence

It’s probably weird but my favorite palette is Subversive La Vie En Rose. I love purples and Purple Reign is simply stunning. Euphoria too. 😍 I sometimes combine the shades from La Vie en Rose with the Astral Rose Orchid from the Blitz Astral quad Ritualistic Rose or with the Blitz Purple from Nocturnal Nirvana or Synthetica. My number two would be the Midnight Sun and number three is Metalmorphosis with this stunning shade of Smoked Amethyst or Bridgerton 1. I can't decide. 😃 These palettes stand out from the crowd more than the rest, to me at least.

No duds in Pat’s mothership line, but Subversive, Divine Rose II and Subliminal will always be my top 3. Midnight Sun is an artistic palette, it does make me think of you🥰

I haven't bought any Pat Mcgrath palettes and i am still not sure which one to get! Anything w blue is out for me., blue looks terrible on me. You're #1 is looking good to me and I like the toffee matte color too but I wouldn't mind a patlette w bright pink honestly, still not sure.

Totally..,rephr works well but I use Morphe brushes, Lucia (surprisingly good brushes) and my fingers too

I definitely find real hair brushes to work best with PMG shadows. My Wayne Goss and Sonia G are great! I also have some old MAC brushes (before they went to synthetic) and they work well, too! 😘

My last experience with pat McGrath website left a sour taste in my mouth. So even though I want to purchase palettes from her…I just won’t. The fact that they pick and choose who could receive the “glitch” prices just rubs me the wrong way. Also they kept my money for about a month before telling me they would be refunding me. Why? I just don’t get it. Did they need extra money for the frivolous lawsuit over the divine blushes from rose inc?

Oh dear…sorry to hear that. I usually order online too when it’s on offer and they were okay …once they did miss out on some of the items in the bundle I ordered but once I notified them, they promptly sent it. I did realise they had ‘glitch’ prices.
