As a “Pro Cortex Player”, he is definitely #1. He is nearly useless when someone doesn’t have a flow, but if mastered, he’s a raid boss. Especially in 1v1’s.

He is for pussies, Cortex has the dumbest movement in the game. You can roll them in the 1v1 and they can run away for ever and then aimbot shoot you. The game needs some crazy balancing

absolutely agree. In the right hands he can be a jack of all trades. Just a very versatile and fun character

N. Brio is seriously slept on. If you jump above an enemy and spam Brio's beaker drop attack, it gives him extra air time and he basically wins crowd control. Maybe two characters on the current roster can deal with an attack directly above them. Most others will run and that gives him time to monster up and control even more space. Combine this with a fridge or Garbage and he'll own any space he's in. He's the premier blocker.

I agree he's a beast but I don't feel like the fridge is the best for him. Garbage dump, gasmoxian guard and fly trap all distract enemies, deal damage/ slow enemies nearby which gives you extra openings for overhead beakers and hulking out

The characters I absolutely love are Cortex and Coco. They feel so broken and useful

Something about N.Brio that seems to work pretty well for me is jumping before drinking the potion. You get to move just a little bit more, and it can surprise enemies if you're above them since by the time you touch the ground you're basically finished transforming

My list: #1 Cortex #2 Crash #3 Coco #4 N tropy #5 N brio #6 Catbat #7 Dingo #8 Tawna

This is my list 1. Ntropy : she is very good in combat great blocker the gravity slam is useful she has lot of health I usually have the most kos with this character 2. Cortex : he can be a hard character to play with if you don't know how to use him but if you do know how to use him he is a fun character to play with 3. Crash : fast and getting wumpa fruit the slide spin is very useful of knocking players off the bank and out of the way the super slam is very useful and cause alot of damage 4. Coco: she is fast the wall is very useful if anybody is trying to slam you or get your gem pads 5. Cat bat : if you're new to the game she can be a difficult character to use she can easily get out of combat the slam is useful 6. N brio: N brio is vulnerable without his transformation but you need to transform at the right time without getting interrupted if you can't transform at the right time all you can do is run around and throw beakers on enemies 7. Dingodile : before i would put him at the top but i think players are starting to find him out his vaccum is useful to stun enemies but against someone like cat bat who can fly and is fast in combat dingodile is vulnerable vaccum is useful but you have to time it 8. Tawna: she is not as fast as crash and coco her best abilties is to stun the enemy with a hook and the uppercut when theirs lots of enemys around her shes vulnerable

After playing them all this is my list based on usability 1. N. Tropy (Criminally Strong and if you use the Bounce Crates + Super Slam = Virtually unbeatable, I got 22 KOs in 1 game and helped the team who where 1.2K down destroy the enemies) 2. Cortex (Horrible to use when you don't know what to do but he's insanely OP when you figure him out, best if you fight at range, Piano is deadly) 3. Catbat (Great for getting out of Danger and collecting Wumpa) 4. Coco (Same as crash but her wall can be very effective) 5. Crash (Super Slam is great for dealing with blockers and he's great for dashing around the map) 6. Dingodile (Sluggish but he's broken with his Tailwhip attack making him OP and I was afraid he was gonna be the main) 7. Tawna (Great for zipping around the map getting Wumpa) 8. N. Brio (Good as a Blocker but generally hard to use)

I really wanted to love playing dingo but in my first hour I was just continually spam attacked into oblivion, and the suck/blast attack rarely seemed to work. I found I could only have a good time when I just ignored trying to damage players and went for the points even as a blocker. That being said if you can sit at their bank and continually charge super tail whip you'll kick some butt. It's a shame that getting N.Tropy involves so much work as a blocker as that character is insane to defend against, one match was carried just by that one player destroying us. I was surprised how much fun I had as coco in this game, that wall defence has led to some great plays/blocks preventing players from reaching platforms or chasing me. In some ways coco was a better blocker than the blockers.

Currently my list is 1. Dingodile 2. Catbat 3. Coco 4. Cortex 5. Femtropy 6. N-brio 7. Tawna. I don't think anyone in this game is bad except for tawna who just feels underpowered but I'm sure she'll be buffed soon.

1: Catbat 2: Cortex and Coco 4: NBrio Trophy, crash and dingodile are decent and fun too I just don't enjoy them quite as much Tawna I just hate playing as because she's not really good enough at shaking enemies as a scorer, doesn't have enough attack power to be a blocker or booster and apart from her grapple she's just boring to play as

My list based on the past 3 days 1. Coco: for the reasons you mention plus the synergy she has with the blockers in trapping opponents to death 2. N tropy: I find her to be low risk and high reward when deviating from her traditional role and that time tether tears through opponents 3. Crash: reasons you mention, but other than his flop can't defend at all against n tropy at all. 4. Cortex: while I do find the piano highly situational, his mobility and animal transformations are too good to ignore. 5. Catbat: I haven't personally played her at all, but I feel like the dive requires to much commitment to be useful outside of travel and not much stands out besides it (like why heal with her when you can use a fridge) 5. Dingodile: I rank him the same as catbat because while he's limited in his role, he's really the best at camping and just synergies too well with n tropy when defending. 7. N. Brio: dude just requires too much risk to make any of his options work. The potions are too vulnerable for little reward, aiming with the slime is tedious for a potential kill and he's just too fragile. 8. Tawna: she constantly dies due to poor health and awkward special attack that does too little damge before you die. 😭

Her special attacks has trash hitbox and her grabling hook can be cancelled. I already got the platinum trophy by leveling her to max and some games made me ragequit by how bad she is at chasing enemies

Tawna sucks, Brio I never had trouble with using just needs practice and timing but Catbat is awesome don't forget you don't have to commit to the dive if you change your mind or the target becomes too much of a risk you can jump out of it

So I can see how these rankings came to be for quite a few people here and I can’t say I’m super good or anything but I do often get top performer in my games and don’t feel bad at the game so I just want to comment. If you play to the chars strengths you see where and how they shine. You see tawnas stats and then play her and she feels weak right? I did at first but then as I kept getting beat I recognized how other people play and use their abilities so whose to say tawna can’t either? The power is all in the grappling hook (precision), and decision making. Once I figured out how I should be engaging people I win almost every fight, all I need is 1 mistake and i get the ko as tawna. Dingos can’t fight me, brios can’t play carelessly or they get bursted down. If trophy slams, she gets knocked out. The grappling hook is an engaging tool and disengaging tool. You use it to get around, get away, and to start and finish fights. I believe you get a slight stun if you hook an enemy and then you do uppercut slam combo and it’s so much damage now all her stats make sense when you play her this way. Catching people with long range hooks like your scorpion or something feel so satisfying but most don’t seem to know this because I beat every tawna I come across. Only char I’ve struggled against is a trophy spamming basic attacks and shields and even then if I get really crafty I’ll win. I can do every role with tawna and that’s why she’s my fave to play.

Personally as a cortex main I feel like he should be number one because he can do anything really he can be a good scorer, blocker, and obviously booster But he is a high risk high reward type character since he is the hardest character to play so I can see why he is low, because no one knows how to use him

My playstyle is an all rounder, I try to do what the team needs. Even if I’m not a booster, if no one is going for the gem pad, I will go for them. I don’t really specialise in any style. It’s a bit hit and miss. Some matches I can be useless, others I’ll be the mvp. I’m not a player that can hunt down opponents and knock them out. I often get bodied by those. I never quite understand how people do it.

With dingo i think instead of the suck vac, his special should have been his flamethrower. But if the rumours are true that Spyro will be playable, than they are probably saving a flame attack for him.

As a top Tropy player. You seriously super underrated the sheer power of a highly speedy blocker. There is tech that Trophy have where you just spam basic combo attack. The finisher gives a good speed boost and you can use that speed boost with your dive as well you can cancel out your dive. Dingo and Brio get super hard countered by a good Trophy. Corex is second place being the best counter blocker. He helps with bank stalls with double blocker set ups with his transform ability. Coco is number 3 the best team base character that grabs maps items for the team with so much speed.

I can believe it lol. N Tropy is a problem for dingo, and I mean a hard counter for him. The tuning fork has pretty much no cooldown, so as dingo you can get stuck and not be able to retaliate

I think I’m gunna just poor love into Dingodile. I just have the most fun as him. Tho I think he needs some buffing. If is vac was more forceful or longer range. Let the hover last longer. I think his double jump should hit on top to counter air moves

is anyone else having trouble with crash team rumble "drift"? When walking diagnoal left then forward it always registers me moving diagnally right instead of forward.

My teir list 8. Tawna I just don't think she is useful 7. Catbat bad aim 6.n brio he's hard to play as and I hate when I get hit while drinking the potion 5. N trophy she isn't bad she just isn't good at scoring 4. Cortex he is really good with combat just hard to play as 3.coco not made for fighting but good at everything else 2.dingodile he is really strong and one time I beat the whole team with him 1. You might wanna fix the time stamps names. Dingodile, N. Brio, and N. Tropy's names are wrong.

Listen, I love Coco she is the first character i played and my most played and loved character, but I think she could use some slight nerfs. A little bit more end lag on her slam, a bit more cooldown on her wall, maybe make her a little slower than crash. I just think she can do too much with no drawbacks at the moment. You don't have to really time your shield usage just throw them out willy nilly, and the other two changes are just to make her distinguishable from crash. I also really love Catbat. She struggles with some of the flatter maps where her vertical movement can't be used to its fullest extent like the beach, but personally, I really like that and would prefer more design like this where characters are not bad on any map but their unique traits allow them to better picks on certain maps. I still absolutely love this game.

Disagreed I've played the beta and full release, made my own mind up and watched this to see others opinions and on the whole I agree with it though I rank cortex and brio slightly higher than they are. I fail to see how a video literally titled his opinion on the ranking of characters is misinforming as it delivers exactly what the title promises. An opinion

Didn't I make a comment on that other video of Coco should not be last, and now she is number 1.
