Ranking All 5 Rhino Species From Smallest To Largest
There are 5 species of rhino alive today and these animals are among the largest land mammals alive today. Rhinos have been struggling over the past few hundred years as they have been relentlessly hunted by humans for their horns. It really is a shame that rhinos are suffering in this way as rhinos are arguably the most mysterious group of megafauna alive today. In today's video i will be going through all the rhino species alive today as i will be ranking them based on their maximum size. I will be going from the smallest rhino species to the largest rhino species and we will start off with the Sumatran rhino.

I have some news about the Sumatran rhino; it turns out that in some areas, almost the entire population is gone. The few populations left are in the northern tip of Sumatra. There is one Borneo ( Sumatran ) rhino left, a female, but the conservationists are trying their best to capture it. All Sumatran rhinos are in Sumatra and Borneo as we speak. I was on an internship in a zoo.
We used to Have Rhinos in Nigeria... Now we don't. It's a shame. What's even more crazy is the reason why they've been poached to near extinction

The nigerian human population needs to be decreased to 60% so that wildlife can thrive around there.

Ironically its their very weapon that killed them, the horn that for very weird reason still believed to contain medical properties and stubbornly still being used despite rhinoceros themselves almost extinct and becoming a tale of distant past, like horse unicorn

Fun fact about the Sumatran rihno, they're more closely related to the extinct woolly rhinos than any of the other rhino species alive today

The Sumatran rhinos are also the most vocal rhino 🦏 species. Their call is very similar to a whale that how they communicate throw the forest 🦏🌳 🦏throw one in other.

I don't know, but Indian Rhions can get a bit bigger, from what I have heard in Kaziranga National park, males can get upto 3.4 tons . But that doesn't change anything. It's still a magnificent animal. Har Har mahadev 🚩
I have a new idea Ranking the smallest to largest leopard subspecies

@@yashovardhansingh4115 yes because India has round the clock protection of there animals with park rangers. All the animals there are benefiting and thriving because of that. I truly believe if they had small breeding colonies and a reserve set up for them. There number would bounce back if nothing is done now they will be doomed for extinction

Can you do this type of video with crocodilians?
Nice. Thank You!
Why do rhinos outside of Africa only exist in India and south east Asia? How did they cross such a large distance?

Think it would be pretty cool if some of these different animal species that exist in Africa and Asia had some North and South American counterparts. I know there used to be some in the American continents in the past but, it would be pretty cool if they hadn’t gone extinct.
Yes more of these please
Keep going brother I love your videos dont give up!

Hi Pup
Can you do a video like this for the main Tiger subspecies/populations?
Appreciate the then Govt of India @India taking steps for wildlife protection...Hope the indian rhino population grows more!! 😊
I love rhinos, I have a tattoo of one on my right forearm
👍
First
Good video, except for that black rhinos are quite a bit smaller on average, and more around up to 1,814 kgs (4,000 lbs)..
Can't they breed the north with the south
May be largest rhino is Indian rhino as there are some large individuals which reportedly weigh up to 4,000 kg (8,820 lb).
I always thought Charley Baker was the biggest Rino
I am from Assam home to Greater One Horned Rhinoceros ..Between 2000 - 2015, a total of 350 Rhinos has been killed in Assam but during last 9 yrs there has been increase in their number to 3000 individuals ...Rhinos breed very slow unlike big cats , Zebras or Giraffes ... The tiger population of India has more than doubled in just 16 yrs but Rhinos need 40 - 45 yrs to get double ...And big cats have lots of food options but Rhinos especially Indian Rhinos basically feed upon elephant grass & few types of tree leaves
I can’t believe how evil people are by killing these beautiful animals for their horn of all things
No mention of Mitt Romney?
Is there anything out there that Chinese traditional "medicine" hasn't devastate yet?!

After watching so many videos about critically endangered species, one thing's for certain- I HATE traditional Chinese medicine.
Rhinos are amazing animals, and neither Africa nor Asia (along with Malaysia) will be the same without these horned battle tanks. Hopefully, they'll be protected to help restore their populations. Also, f@%k poachers! 🦏
Always only the best 🕺😌🦾
