Ranking All 5 Rhino Species From Smallest To Largest

There are 5 species of rhino alive today and these animals are among the largest land mammals alive today. Rhinos have been struggling over the past few hundred years as they have been relentlessly hunted by humans for their horns. It really is a shame that rhinos are suffering in this way as rhinos are arguably the most mysterious group of megafauna alive today. In today's video i will be going through all the rhino species alive today as i will be ranking them based on their maximum size. I will be going from the smallest rhino species to the largest rhino species and we will start off with the Sumatran rhino.

I have some news about the Sumatran rhino; it turns out that in some areas, almost the entire population is gone. The few populations left are in the northern tip of Sumatra. There is one Borneo ( Sumatran ) rhino left, a female, but the conservationists are trying their best to capture it. All Sumatran rhinos are in Sumatra and Borneo as we speak. I was on an internship in a zoo.

Ironically its their very weapon that killed them, the horn that for very weird reason still believed to contain medical properties and stubbornly still being used despite rhinoceros themselves almost extinct and becoming a tale of distant past, like horse unicorn

The tiger population of India has more than doubled in just 16 yrs but Rhinos need 40 - 45 yrs to get double ...And big cats have lots of food options but Rhinos especially Indian Rhinos basically feed upon elephant grass & few types of tree leaves
