For me the biggest thing against season 2 wasn't the time skip but the fact that it's the shortest season of the series. Yeah it's only by 6 episodes but that makes a big difference in terms of storytelling and as a result things felt rushed and cramped at times. Also what's sad is they had the perfect way to show us what happened during the 5-year time skip, through the Tie-in-comics. They were pretty popular in the fan base, especially the one with Artemis origin. If they had just done a series about the those missing five years fans would've bought them and they could continue the series for at least a year or two and make a profit out of it, but for some reason DC comics doesn't like to make a profit at least not with Young Justice.

I agree with literally every word of this. (I think the creators themselves once complained that they wished they’d gotten those six other episodes in Season 2 to flesh out the story more so. But be that as it may, I STILL was not a fan of the “maturing” of the core cast, how it all happened OFFscreen, and how little insight we got into what transpired during those five blank years.)

On the whole, yeah, I have to say I agree with you. Failing to put more focus into making more of this show has been a MAJOR mistake on WBD's part.

personally 4 & 2 are tied for second place for me but I agree with first and last. Thing is I actually did enjoy the first half of season 3. I liked that it was focused on a smaller team of 7 with some veterans and some newbies. But during the second half we shifted focus to the Outsiders and aside from Halo we never saw much of the other heroes we spent so much time with. That was when the season got bad for me

Yeah, I hear you on Season 3. It definitely had its solid moments, but the lackluster ones just outweighed them by TOO wide a margin to ignore. But 2 simply was not as deftly done as 4, imo.

1, 2, 3 and 4 in that order imo.

Yeah, to me, 2 was too plot-focused, with too much attention to nothing b-listers for me to view it as a good second. (It was still better than 3, though, of course.) Meanwhile, 3’s scattered pacing, overstuffed cast, and habitual deflection from the main galactic conflict in favor of preachy content just set it off as the absolute worst of the four in my mind.

What you said ab s3 was turned into a anti trump woke campaign instead of superhero series is on point. S3 sucks everyone I know basically quit watching it and I fell asleep during this garbage. Next from worst to best I say s4, s2, s1....s3 just sucks

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I approve of using entertainment media as inspiration for people to do better or be better. For instance, the showrunner of Daredevil Season 3 has gone on record to say that that Season was effectively an ani-Trump message; yet fans are still praising that Season to this day as the show's best. But the messaging MUST remain SECONDARY to the PRIMARY objective of ENTERTAINING the audience. And it can't be done at the cost of PREACHING to the audience either.
