Ranking 10 'mean girls’ based on their outfits

I LOVE villain wardrobes, they often have the most extravagant and stylish outfits. I thought it would be fun to look at clichéd mean girls, because some of the outfits are iconic. While the intentions of these girls could be argued, I thought I’d step away from their character and solely focus on their outfits. We can still hate them but admire what they wear. I wanted a variety of styles but also chose movies I could access, so most are currently available on Netflix or Disney+ .

I always found it funny that in teenage movies popular girls were almost always mean, and popular boys were just misunderstood... I think that's one of the reasons Mean Girls is such an iconic movie, for the first time they humanized girls and their ambition for love and peer acceptance... 🤔

True, also it probably had to do with budgeting as it's pretty obvious that they didn't have much money to spend on the outfits and so probably pulled together what they could. Her outfits are MUCH better in the 2nd and especially 3rd movie, where they had a massive budget.

I'd honestly argue that in Wild Child Poppy Moore is the mean girl, she's the stereotypical one, though she has a character arc I'd definetely refer to her as a mean girl through the stereotype, much more than Harriett. Harriett is more the student-council-president type in my opinion. EDIT: She is the protagonist, but I feel that doesn't change her behavior, it just puts us in her point of veiw.

Harriet from that Emma Robert’s movie looks like someone who would of hung around with Camila Parker Bowels if they were the same age. She’s definitely that understated aristocratic English type, who drives an old Range Rover, owns an inherited Aga stove and shops at Waitrose. She probably wear the one pant suit she bought in Browns (pronounced Brounes in RP) for 30 years, Harrods or Selfridges would be too common for her. Also she loves organic gardening and is married to a conservative MP and they have a villa in lake Coma which they never goto because her husband doesn’t like how energetic Italians get & she doesn’t trust their maid there to wash her grandmothers Egyptian cotton sheets properly. Their children definitely have hard to pronounce Latin names though, which doesn’t matter because they have nicknames that sound like something a baby would babble (like Chicky)

Honestly, in my case I have seen that the rich mean/snobby girl isn't really the popular one but they are the powerful ones so every tries to befriend them. Also, they cannot stand another girl getting any recognition/attention for their "thing" which are usually things like fashion, looks, or academic accomplishments.

I've never seen jawbreaker but every time I see clips from it I can't focus on anything other than how unconvincing the cast is as teenagers erjejfrg maybe because they were all in their late 20s rather than early 20s like in most teen movies

"A key word when it comes to Sharpay's outfits is: Layering, if you think Is enough, add something else" That resumes every single outfit from any Disney Chanel live action series/movie, they had a weird thing for putting as many layers of clothes in their actors as posible.

@@Blaze-vy5yp She tried to be the girl who would educate a newbie on how to fit in. And that's essentially what every mean girl does. Regina was nice to Katie too but it had already been cemented in her that she's a plastic and a mean person. And similar to Regina, who hurted Katie with Aaron, Cher also tried to make everything go wrong for her bf who liked Josh. We just were watching from different POV. Cher has the characteristics of a typical mean girl but she isn't ruthless and condescending but she is manipulative and witty.

@@Bumble-bee_ First of all it's Cady, not Katie. And secondly, she is spoiled but not mean. She just thought she was helping the new girl but instead turned her into something she's not anymore. You do know the reason why they called the movie Clueless, right? And again Cher is a sweet girl who helped her father eat well and cares about her friends. She's just clueless.

@@Blaze-vy5yp I called her Katie because that's what Janice calls her throughout the movie, and yeah it kinda suits her more. Also, I think you didn't read last para of my previous comment, I pointed out that Cher may not be the antagonistic mean girl; she isn't condescending and rude but she's witty and manipulative. Also, the video is about fashion and I think Cher would've taken all of them down because no matter what she wasnt clueless about fashion.😌
