This is "advanced dog education" from a person who obviously studies his animals as individuals as well as members of a group and is kind enough to share his knowledge. Thank you.

I dont have a fenced in yard so my shepherd goes on the chain to do his business. Most dogs that escape their yard will not enter his domain. But when they do he always dominates. From pitts, rot and german shepherds. Now that he's older ( 8 yrs) I always go out with him. He is my best friend and watch dog. Thank you for sharing.

Fascinating. This brings back such memories of my own Anatolian Kuvasz -- long gone - when he encountered an aggressive Golden Retriever male. Neither were chained, but my dog made it very clear that he was prepared to stand his ground.Even when the other dog stood on my dogs back he just shook him off and made it quite clear by sheer force of personality that he was in charge of the situation . But on that occasion , as always with him, he just dominated the situation --and NEVER actually bit any dog that dared face him. They just crept away !

The yellow dog has little respect for dominant dogs, This is bad for him. Should he find himself next to a pack leader, of a different pack he may not live to learn his mistake. Even though grey dog was on a chain, he was respectful of yellow dog, even though master was near. A dog with lesser nerves would have hurt the younger dog. We learn alot watching puppies in the 8th week, social rules before life and bad habits emerge. I would not want the yellow dog, because he will also show me no respect, and challenge me when he thinks I am weak. Very nice animals, I especially like the young male with the original leader. Thanks for the video, not many people today understand dog psychology, body language, pack mentality of working dogs.

Thank you so much for uploading this 2 videos! I have a 11 months old Karakachan female. And I try to understand her behavior towards 2 specific other dogs in my town. This two videos helps me a lot. I will certainly watch them over and over again. My dog behave very good against most dogs, but do have a very high wish to dominate(I think) some other females. But after watching this to videos, I start to think that the other dogs arrogance have something to with the hole clash/fight. I do still feel that she should be more patient and don’t start a fight so fast. Still there is a collision of culture, in Norway people don’t tolerate fights between dogs at all! And my female have been born in Bulgaria with 30 others dogs(so a big pack).
