On the 24th of May 2023 the general cargo ship Rangitata departed Napier
Apart from the inter-island ferries, and a tanker, I didnt think we had any coastal shipping left. We need more of them.
The 2 crew system ie crew costs destroyed the NZ and Australian Merchant Navy. Thanks to Morgan and the Unions
