We are defo needing some Rangers fans in that dressing room we always had it at our core and it’s been missing for a while

Just watched few of his videos. Very impressive. Ball winner, long and short passer, tries his heart out. Looked at his stats last 15-20 games. Above 7.0 90% of games. Where Aberdeen won or drew most. Almost freebie too. Grab him.

Could also prove to be us yet again ignoring the fact that a player has a well established injury pattern and signing another sicknote yet again. It is not worth the risk. Look at where that policy over the last decade for signing sicknotes and ignoring that has got us.......hint......nowhere in terms of titles really.

@@rangersnut 100%, from what I’ve seen of Barron he looks a good prospect and could grow to be top footballer with having better players around him, but as you say, the injury history is a worry.

Genuinely thrilled! When I noticed his contract was going to be up back in January I was wanting him. Thought it was going to be like Lewis Ferguson or other top Scottish talent that goes else where.

I would prefer Kai Fotheringham, Lennon Miller, Tommy Conway and David Watson out of the Scottish scene. Barron has a pattern for regular injury. That put me off big time, regardless of talent. We have seen many sicknotes the last few years. Looks like another potential one. He could be the new Ryan Jack injury wise. If he signs I will back him, but I am not happy that the penny isn't dropping. Here is Barrons injury record: 22/23 Groin injury 51 days Aberdeen FC5 22/23 Knee injury 123 days Aberdeen FC13 21/22 Knee injury 13 days Aberdeen FC2 20/21 Ankle injury 83 days - 20/21 Quarantine 14 days Brechin City FC3 I am delighted with Nsiala, Kelly, Cortes, Jefte all robust looking types. Cortes had no prior injury amd the further loan is smart, I have serious worry over Sima links, Barron and Kabadayi. Not about their ability, but about how robust they are.

I really hope we see the bi neon sign that says here is a potential and very likely injury prone player, instead let's learn and sign Watson and Lennon Miller instead.

I hope we sign Lennon Miller and David Watson as well. They are two good players who could also help us meet the homegrown quota. We'll find out whether or not the Uruguayan rumours about Damián García are true tomorrow.

Personally I can’t see us signing Miller as we are unlikely to splash out for a 17 year old. I think we are trying to get 19-21 year olds in as either free transfers or for £1m

@@Smoke.madraw Nothing is confirmed yet. We'll have a better idea of what's happening tomorrow. H&H said he has been offered contract extension by his club and it's now up to him whether he accepts it or not. He also has offers from other clubs.

​@@Demondoink1Lorran Lucas is a first team player at Flamengo aged 17. Absolutely beast physically and bullies players as a 10 or anywhere across a front 3. He can beat 4 and 5 players and score. I would take him in a heart beat for us over Cantwell and Lennon Miller is currently valued at around £1 million we should make a move and play him. Age should not be a barrier if someone is good enough.

It will be a genuine rebuild if we bring in a couple of Cbs and rid oursleves of Tav, Goldson, Davies. We have Nsiala and Balogun for cover, we need starters at CB that improve out defence, as well as goal strong wingers, a 10 and a striker.

We’re getting him instead of Garcia unfortunately but onwards and upwards should go sign Lennon miller as well now

I like the lad. He’s certainly not any worse than lunny. Hopefully he can improve quickly under big Phil.

I like his ability when fit. I liked Sima when fit, Ridvan when fit, this Kabadayi looks good when fit. That's a huge part of the problems we have had. Signing guys with regular patterns of injury doesn't help us. It must stop. Guys going missing for huge chunks of the season and a manager complaining about it.........the answer.......sign more sicknotes. FFS, it's starting to look like one flew over the cuckoo's nest if we sign more injury plagued guys.

Rangers making sensible signings? Whatever next.... Hopefully the lad signs on the dotted line. As for stats - too many people think they are the be all and end all but they're not. Football is played on grass (well mostly) not on paper or computer screens.

Aberdeen fans really are a bunch of pricks. They said they hate Jack because he had pledged his future to Aberdeen before he left for us. That’s absolute bull. This lad will get similar abuse and it’s simply because he’s gone to a better club and wants to further his career. If these fans showed the same passion for their club by turning up to games, Aberdeen might actually do better…. Nah, actually, they’re pish.

Id just be happy to get a core of Scottish players who understand what it means to play for the club. Also help others understand when they come from further afield 💪

I think the Garcia one fell apart I was gutted with that one. But I’m hoping this lad turns into the fit every week Ryan Jack or better our Lewis Ferguson. Although I’d like to im to our great Barron. I think this lad will start for us because I’ve never been impressed by him that’s just me being honest but I’d be happy as hell for him to be great and will always have my support.

Prior to going on holiday, my source in Aberdeen stated that Barron has a confirmed contract offer from Italy. I'm surprised to hear this, but will be pleased if it's true...

Looks like no more Garcia which is a bummer but Barron will be a good addition nonetheless. Just hope he can stay fit..

I work in Plymouth and it's all over the place that he's going to Plymouth. Seemingly it's almost a done deal. Personally I think that's a better move for him . Proving himself at Plymouth is better for his career then the bigger teams will take notice . Hope Aberdeen can get as much as they can for him .

I think we miss out on good homegrown players as we turn our noses up. Lewis Ferguson and Celtic with John McGinn to name a few. There are good players in our league and we should pick them up if we can.

Lundstrum scored one screamer and another goal which just happened to be exceptionally memorable, and spent the rest of his time at Rangers fooling people into believing he was capable of playing for a winning Rangers team. One of the main reasons these last three seasons have been a complete failure. I sincerely hope if Barron does arrive that the comparable isn't him. I had had a terrible feeling we'd be destined to watch the ghost of Lundstrum bumble about the pitch against Ross County, with twenty yards of space in front of him, passing sideways thinking he's Pirlo, then pointing and blaming people.

Watson would also be my first choice! Maybe Watson, Barron and Garcia come in 🤔 one can dream 😂😂

Even though we’re getting young foreign players in its great to see but still would be better if we got the best young homegrown players too it’s not good when you see a lineup and not one of the lineup are Scottish not good for development and giving academy players belief that they can break into the first team ..

I heard Garcia is going to sign a new deal so his club can get more money for him. If this is true am gutted but he can't be held to ransom. A like Barron and we need more Scots but his injury record is terrible for a young laddy. Better getting Watson like.

Maybe Aberdeen will offer a 2 year extention on better terms and a transfer release clause for £7.5m . Would Connor sign it ? I doubt that as clubs have already blown what they can offer to smithereens for this boy in contract offrs. He might hve been given a wee extra 💰*nudge* the day to speed things up in his decision making process. Good signing if he comes but beware the early stage Roofenitis warnings . I hope we have recruited a more robust medical procedure this summer and cleared out the masked muppets of years past 😷

Barron’s a really good player who’s already proven in the SPL and is only 21 and is available for a minimal compensation fee. He’s also Scottish so it’s important for the Euro quota. It’s a no brainer signing imo. I think we will start to spend money on players once we have sold some first. But atm we are mostly signing free transfers and guys on pre contracts cos the transfer window hasn’t even opened yet.

It’s confusing cos they like to sign our players? They signed Ross McCrorie and now they are linked with Robbie. Yet they can’t take it when we sign one of their players.

the only positive regarding this laddie is that he is consistently average, still if this is what big PC has identified as part of the jigsaw then we have to hold our breath until the preseason where it will all be finally presented to us..
