I think the grenade needs more damage and the top path probably needs more range. Operator is just better in every way.

2-5 Ranger is always a must-have if you don't have any other type of Splash damage. 5-2 Ranger always get overwhelmed by Hordes of Zombies although will rock against single target It's best to set 2-5 Rangers to Strongest, It's passive and grenades can have more value to enemies since it will target the strongest enemies in a horde where it's most likely in the middle.

Top ranger is good when you only have ranger, but it’s outclassed by operator. Bottom path ranger might have legitimate uses over other towers, well see. My solo strat for right now is top path operator spam while one or two bottom path ranger burn and grenade enemies.

Only other thing that is great about ranger is that you can easily spam them as bait on intermedie mode but it's mainly just good for predator and you can still use other cheap towers

You should use it in easy or normal it’s kinda op if u have 4 ppl

Take into consideration this is across two different games with different enemies in different modes with different difficulties. There are TD games where 50 dps on an endgame lategame dps tower is op and games where 200 dps on a beginner tower is trash.

Ranger Paths DPS: 5-2 has ~80 DPS 2-5 has ~60 DPS 5-2 does 1.33 times more DPS than 2-5. Detections: 5-2 has stealth detection 2-5 has no detections Considering there are stealth abominations in easy mode, you need A LOT of stealth detection to get by. Special Stuff/Abilities: 5-2 has no abilities 2-5 has a weak grenade and the cooldown doesn’t make things any better. Let’s just say it adds an extra 5 DPS. This path also has a napalm bomb, but I don’t think it stacks, and it won’t be too good against bosses. Opinion: Ranger’s 2-5 needs to be buffed to deal more DPS than 5-2 for it to be worth getting.
