The Range Rover has been around for over half a century - it set the benchmark all luxury SUVs had to meet - with the added benefit of Land Rover’s legendary off-road prowess. The latest Range Rover is bigger than ever before, and offers seven seats for the first time. There’s a choice of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid engines - some of which may prove surprisingly economical. With a fully-electric model also in the pipeline, is the Range Rover still one of the best luxury cars on sale? Rich finds out.

I've been a fan of the Range Rover since it was introduced all those years ago. I always wanted one as a kid and still do but would I get one? I doubt it even if I could afford it I just could not justify the expense. No matter though as there is always at least one (not just Range Rovers I must add) in the supermarket carpark that is stopped (not parked) across at least two spaces allowing the rest of us plenty of room to admire the car. I still want one though.

I think the new Range Rover/Range Rover Sport are stunning cars, but that 'Best car on sale' comment is not needed as that's such a subjective matter. There are other excellent cars out there that could lay claim to that title depending on who you ask, and what they look for in a car. For me, they are amongst the very best cars on the market, and I would have one over every other car in its class/sector

Reading some of these comments, you’d think all RRs break down all the time. They don’t. I’m on my fourth RR/LR and have never had a problem with any of them. The Driver Power Survey (2022) makes interesting reading in this respect.

sorry but please do not speak about electric cars being so great and all, if you have not done the math.. unless you say its your opinion in the end of the sentence. Please do some research, you will find out that even if you had covered two houses in solar panels and you live in Australia where there is much more sun, it will take few days to charge a tesla to go for a daily ride and back. You can power a house for like 3 days on tesla battery. The electric cars are super heavy and waste a lot of electricity and put a lot of strain on the grid. If we had better energy source in UK like nuclear power plants then yes. But at the moment just burning coal to barely keep up with the demand. I looked into it myself, and I can recommend to not get electric cars until energy is green first + the cars are not made in china and india polluting other countries, also maybe better battery in the future that does not burn a car to a crisp. Also no mechanics have certifications yet to work on electric cars as its high voltage and can literally explode if you handle the car wrong.. plus when they want to rescue you from an electric car , they need to know where to cut to not pose danger to fireman cutting the frame - so they wont get electric shock.. also electric cars on fire? need a special truck to arrive to lift it up and dump it in special container that is the only way now to extinguish them.. so no , rather not hear more about electric cars are great propaganda please , unless you make it clear its you won opinion or opinion of car buyer company. I like your videos guys keep up the good work. But do not spread info from tv and radio that is made up stuff please for the good of the other people

Giving something like this the moniker of “Best car on sale” whiffs of paid for positive coverage. Even if you love the way it drives, it’s hugely expensive and outside the scope of most drivers, it’s got one of the worst reputations for reliability, it’s enormous and polluting. I get that things like this are highly subjective, but some of the points I’ve just made aren’t are they? Surely you have to take things like that into consideration when rating a product like this?

Ingram is always trying to hammer home the e.v. message . . . His review is so sycophantic it’s almost as if the ceo of Land Rover wrote it for him. I never heard a word about it being one of the easiest (and most) stolen cars on the planet as well as being comfortably the least reliable car on the market - and that’s not just in the United Kingdom.

that's a lot of money for something that barely resembles a pickup.. I like your videos, but I just don't like people driving those big cars , they cannot see pedestrians, children etc, and when they panic they cause massive accidents and collisions, I think people should have special permission to use cars with more horse power/weight of the vehicle, this is tank on wheels
