As an Audi fan I must say Range rover does an incredible job with making entry level SUV's feel and look like top luxury products. The Velar, Evoque, Discovery, and Sport all have its individual purposes that fit its market well done Range Rover.

Amazing review. Could see all the faults. Also loved the in depth review of each variant. Thats what the others are missing and you guys deliver. Well done!

I love the fact that they have shared the specific differences between ranges.

I own a 2013 Land Rover Evoque and even after 9+ years and 100K miles, it still runs great. I have only spent less than 5K in repairs plus oil changes. Comparing that with an Audi or BMW, it’s pretty impressive TBH

"Poppy outie door handles" I'll be using this terminology for the rest of my life.

I like the fact that the reviews are growing more detailed and longer.

Its the interior where there is the biggest difference, not to mention the improvement with panel gaps! The car you tested, Matt, doesn't have the leather mid section to the fascia, and that looks and feels much better. I drove one earlier in the month and it was parked next to an old one. When you see them both together, its clearly obvious just what a huge improvement the Mk 2 is.

On the strength of your review of the Freelander 2 in 2010 I bought one and it served me well for five years. Because of your review of the 2020 Evoque, I have bought this car. One month and 3000 miles in.....I love it! Fits like a glove.

Absolutely love your reviews, I’ve watched so many from other people but they give fake reviews and seem like they are promoting the vehicle. You on the other hand, so honest and my favourite part would be the details you give on the pros and cons - I also find each review so funny, I look forward to the luggage being launched into the boot lol

Thank you for taking the time to talk through the specs. That's a lot of help when buying an evoque and being unfamiliar with the range. I don't understand why car companies don't automatically send you their top of the range cars with all of the optional extras. It would give you more to review and give us more reasons to buy one.

Shes Sunshine I’m a man with a discovery sport 2017 and have put 200,000 in 2yrs on the clock all that’s happened is the engine was found to have metal in it at the 210,000km service “damn” but Landrover paid for another new engine and I just had to pay for labour $2,600 so that’s it, if something goes wrong that’s all you can ask btw I’m in Australia and still love the car

Mate in Australia to exactly almost to the km my discovery sport 211000 is metal in engine cost my $3000 labour Landrover Shepparton paid for the engine. So I have now put in 3yrs 260000 kms with the engine only issue which as I said Landrover paid for. Beautiful to drive handles great don’t know what everyone carries on about from my experience anyway cheers

Mat I saw you at Car Buyers and I was dying waiting for this review.

Absolutely loved the review. Mat, you nailed it, covered everything. Great attention to detail. Looks a lovely car but JLR are way off with their pricing, stupid money when you look at the build quality and reliability issues.

Great review as always. Can you get the heated steering wheel with the KVADRAT interior? When I play around with the online configurator it seems to force you to use the suedecloth wheel which doesn't seem to have the heated option.

Seen the new model in all black already with tinted glass. Looked amazing.

@@Yourmom-gh3bu so far so good! No major issues. I've had some minor issues, such as the touch screen not always loading up when I start the car. That has only happened a handful of times since getting the car back in 2020. The other issue I've had is some undercoat/paint issues on the panels near the windows, three different times on three different panels on the same side of the vehicle. I'm pretty sure it's a manufacturer's issue. It's still covered under warranty, so nothing out of pocket...yet.
