Hi, thank you for your very informative video, I certainly couldn't have done it without it! another tip for those who are going to start this job: I also had a lot of trouble with the top cable, I eventually removed the plastic protective cap (which is fastened with a one screw), this made it much easier to get the cables loose, also the second. Whwn done you simply replace the cap.

So clear, so informative, been looking for evoque repairs/tips. so glad I've come across your channel.. thank you. subscribed 👍🏽

Thanks for this video, I replaced mine yesterday, I didn't have a hook for the clips so just used finger power, OMG what a nightmare with that top clip. I even had trouble putting in the door card at the top of the door. Any road up all works now cheers buddy. P.S If you ever do the boot hatch remove and replace to get it to realign properly PLEASE do a video. Thanks

Glad it helped you out, I too had an issue with the door card at the top on the passenger side, however, the driver side was fine - odd ... If I ever need to I will do a video on it for sure

Can anyone tell me if a failed drivers door lock, will stop the central locking to the other doors.

My dear I need your help and advice please My Range Rover Evoque door handle not locking my touching the door handle wile it unlocked But if i want lock it by touch the handle its not responding Please help

Anybody else struggled to get the cable back in 😭 ive spent an hour trying but cant work out how a circle fits an oblong but incant get it back on the old one either

So I am trying to purchase a lock off ebay and they guy us asking do I know how to code it after fitting as he's had a few sent back because of this issue

I have never seen one stop the window from working, that sounds like maybe the electrics are not getting into the door - the lights on the door still working?

One suggestion turn music down, pretty annoying

How come you didn’t remove the handle as many say it makes it easier to remove the cables and put them back on?

I did this job today on my Evoque and I did exactly this!! It eliminated the finicky job of attaching the cables while inside the door completely and I was done in 15 minutes or so. The handle is just two screws to remove. But darnit I just realized I forgot to put back the black plastic cover that attaches to the lock mechanism.
