Range Report: FN FS2000 Tactical (The Tactical "Tuna")
In this Range Report I get the chance to review one of the oddest shaped and functioning rifles I have ever taken to the range. This rifle is the FN FS2000 Tactical in 5.56. This gun is unlike many other rifles and designed from the ground up with a different philosophy than many AR type firearms. This gun has pros and cons, but is still a bullpup and I do not generally like bullpups. This videos documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this rifle. Yours may vary.

@@thetexasgunvault unfortunately due to the $6,000 price tag I had to put it back, I did however pick up a brand new FN 545 later that day! The FNX .45 tactical and FN545 had been dream guns for me to own so I was ecstatic to finally be able to purchase an FN 545!

a good book about bullpups is Thorneycroft to SA80/british bullpup firearms 1901-2020 by Jonathan .S. Ferguson. I enjoy your channel. I think the advantage of bullpups is the short overall length.

I really wish I had bought one when I had a chance a decade plus ago! (For collection investment purposes). I personally love bullpup designs just as much my ARs and AKs. The design lends itself well to short gnomes like me 😂 I think the X95 is the superior bullpup design that addresses much of the criticisms of the Tuna.

Nothing at all.
I am a FN fan, my EDC is FN, but the FS2000 & PS90 have got to be the ugliest guns I've ever seen. I do not understand their appeal at all...🤦♂️ Me personally, I think bullpups are a de-evolution of firearms technology. You take a simple firearm and remote all the controls and make them complicated with a bunch of janky linkage.🤷♂️
