    Neha madam, your shortcuts are very useful in JEE, NDA. and the range of 1/1-x^2 that you asked is=(-infinite, 0) U [1, infinite)

    diy question: let 1/1-x²=y y(1-x²)=1 y-yx²=1 yx²+1=y x²=y-1/y (y is not equal to 0) x²≥0 y-1/y≥0 (y-1)y/y²≥0 since y^2 is always +ve (y-1)y≥0 after plotting on number line range= (-infinity,0) U [1, infinity)

    9:10 here if x is 1,2,3, or 4 that also gives a negative value in the denominator. So aren't these 4 values ineligible for being range too? Someone please tell me.

    @@suchithkumar8401 [1, inifinity) would have been the answer if initial function was in square root form. However it wasn't in square root initially. Therefore we have to assume negative values too i.e. (-infinity, 0) along with [1, infinity).
