McLaren Ranfurly Transport, based in Ranfurly, joined the HWR as a joint venture in 2019. The company was formed by the purchase of both McLaren Transport (established in 1952) and Ranfurly Transport (established in 2012). 
Operating a fleet of 26 trucks specialising in livestock transport, bulk cartage, spreading, freight, concrete, excavation, McLaren Ranfurly is also a supplier of aggregates and sand. The company’s wheelhouse is transporting stock and bulk all over the South Island, and occasionally to the North Island.
