Randy Quaid is one of my favorite actors ever. Too bad he doesn't act anymore but hopefully he'll do more conventions where he will realize how many people really like him.

We were just at Megacon in Orlando. Chevy Chase was there as well as Christy Brinkley and 2 of the kids from the Vacation movies. They also had 3 Vacation vehicles. My daughter is into photo ops and autographs so she spends a lot of money. I like to see the people and go to the panels. .

Glad he is doing okay...Randy looks like he could play a grandpa or a prospector in a movie...maybe one about the 1849 Gold Rush...so he was great as Colonel Parker in the Elvis mini-series...also he was great as Eddie in the Vacation movies and as President Johnson in the film about his early career.

Pretty sad that he had to resort to autographs to get a few bucks. He even half joked about signing photos to eat in that one interview with his wife where he talked about fleeing the US way back when, not paying his hotel bills, etc. America loved this guy. All he had to do was pay his bills, keep his nose clean and he would still be working.
