It's a song that is unabashedly snarky and tongue in cheek, but it's grown to become Randy's signature song and the unofficial song of the City of Los Angeles. Really glad it’s here b/c some things from back then are hit or miss to find here. This is great! A fun song to begin with, but realizing not just one of your favorite bands, but your favorite musician -Luke- is playing on it really kicks it up a notch!!! ❤️✨🎸🥁🎹✨❤️ Including them in the video, that’s just gold🤩

Been to NYC, Chicago, seen every continent on our planet ,in service to "Uncle Sam", and big city out there but L.A. is a DREAM to this southern born white boy. That piece of GOLD movie 'The Naked Gun' first introduced me to this song. But I've been in love with the idea of living in Cali, L.A. specifically since I was a single digits kid in the 70s. I LOVE L.A. and I've never even been there. Maybe it's the DREAM of L.A., Cali in general. Binging Bosch recently and so in love with L.A. I know L.A. has problems but be PROUD if you're from there!! Love you guys.

Talk to people that live on Skid Row. Living there isn't easy if you care about having a room/apartment/home to live in. It's WILDLY expensive, even in the bad areas. I'm California born and raised. The rest of California is STUNNING compared to LA, but because LA is famous for making people famous, everyone wants to try their hand. It's just like gambling in Las Vegas.
