Not a Vikings fan but was annoyed when Denny Green decided to kneel with 30 seconds and take their chances in overtime. Still a baffling coaching decision to this day.

I remember after the Cards defeated the Cowboys in the Wild Card round, but then lost to these Vikings, there was a lot of promise and hype surrounding the Cards with Jake Plummer at QB. However, ARZ would not be competitive again until Kurt Warner became healthy.

Those cardinals uniforms are pretty solid, far better than what they have now. That season was a fun one for the red birds

My dad got season ticket for this year and he always tells me stories of how dominant they were. He also tells me how devastated he was when they missed the field goal 😕

Horrible coaching- what was he even doing in there at the end of the game? Dennis Green was a good guy & everything, but the only reason the Vikes went where they did in '98 was because Moss took the league by storm. Go back to pretty much the same team they had the year before & they'd be 11-5 at best

Robert Griffin was pretty good in Run Support. He slowed our run game down tremendously in that championship game.

Not a min fan but this team is just the best obviously randy & cc but the fact randall finally got a good cast around towards the end of his career just makes me happy not just a good but an all time great offense just makes it that much better

They weren't in the playoffs in 97, 98 only.

Vince tobin took over the cardinals after buddy ryan was fired and tobin took over the bears defense when buddy went to philly after coaching the legendary 85 bears defense

That offense that melted down, and a bad tacking defense ,is what killed this Vikings team in the championship game.

Last play Derek Alexander crashed into John Randals leg. Look at Randle laying on the field. Was useless in the NFC championship game.

Final thoughts after watching this...Robert Griffith was underrated and Jake Plummer was better off picking a plumber as his career!! Oh and David Palmer was this generations Taysom Hill.

Too bad what happened the next week. Vikings vs Broncos would have been a better SB IMO.

Refs made a series of questionable calls in this game.

I can't get over how the Vikings' helmet color doesn't match the color of their jerseys. It just looks so off man.
