Has Randy discovered the secret of immortality? I sure as hell hope so! Can't think of hardly anyone who I would rather see with that gift! I swear to God this man has not physically changed one molecule since the 1st time I saw him play in a Bellevue Washington skating rink in 1978! No bullshit! I was 16yrs old. Have since seen him over 30 times (lived in Seattle area my whole life) and you'll never meet a greater musician or person then Randy Hanson! Never,! God bless you Randy (pretty sure he all ready has) and thank you more than my words could possibly express for bringing so much beauty, joy, and happiness to mine and countless others life's! Randy Hansen transcends the limits that confine most cover artists. I believe he understands Hendrix better than anyone and communicates from the same realm as the master himself. A humble master giving voice to the greatest of them all.

I love this guy!

I've seen Randy twice and blown away both times! Here he is starting off with a song Jimi never did live. love when he doe that. BTW he's been playing with that drummer since 9th grade.

I remember when seeing Randy in a Guitar World article YEARS ago as being the pseudo-reincarnation of Jimi....I didn't believe it at the time, but time will tell! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I love the energy and passion. Keep on, brother! :D

Does Randy write? He should explore his skills and try some original stuff. Maybe not on stage doing Jimi, but I would love to here him let go! He might have already...what do I know. Anyway, he is great! His voice is effortlessly similar to Jimi's. That along with his appearance and guitar playing is really spooky. It is like reincarnation to a degree. His spirit is gentle also...just like Hendrix. I am freaked. Glad he is here to keep the sound going!

Whoever hired this drummer needs to be FIRED. What musician doesn't know Stone Free from top to bottom just from radio play ALONE? This is very, very bizarre. I saw Randy at the Admiral Theater in Bremerton WA with Rail & Co. opening the show in 1980. That's the year he released his Champagne & Cocaine album. I've been invited to a regular jam every Thursday night at his place in Auburn but haven't made it yet. This drummer doesn't know ANY of this material.
