    I was homeless and on drugs like this a year ago. You have to get to a point of surrender and look up. And I did. And I cried out to GOD Almighty. And He heard my cry. God is good. He is loving. He has a plan for you. Here I am a year later... healthy, strong, good paying job, 2 bedroom apartment, and have custody of my daughter. And I say this not to get a lot of "likes" as some people do. I say this because it's true and GOD is real! And He loves you! "For whoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Bless you all...- Romans 10:13

    @Lendzemo Joachimkim The government spends scads of money to try to help addicts. There are tons of government programs, private charities, and churches offering every imaginable resource. I have experience dealing with two drug addicted family members. I could regale you with 100s of true stories. The truth is these addicts would steal their own grandmother’s cancer pain prescription drug with foreknowledge that doing so will result in the grandmother suffering agony. The addict doesn’t care a hoot about anybody else.

In many ways money isn't the problem, government is. I also work with addicts as a behavioral nurse. Theres so much waste in the system that if you eliminated it and cut the budget by half there would still be more money than there is now. After reading it a second time i can see why where i was going with that didn't convey at all.

    The help is all around. There is a lot of businesses with rehabs, housing, hospitals etc. Anyone can get help if they're willing to. The reason why most people are homeless is because they don't wanna give up drugs and alcohol. Homeless folk who are mentally challenged (sick/ill) is harder to care for. Asylums and hospitals eventually put them back on the street and it's a sad cycle. The ones who are reasonable/sane and just don't wanna quit drugs have many more options and avenues to take in the recovery community.

Unless you have friends or family to help! I lost my house I rented and just like that it was sold to landlords family and I had 10 days to get me and my 3 kids out! I had to give them up or be homeless w me. Wwyd? I grieved my kids and home and yes drugs are everywhere and people are not so willing to help as much as one needs. @Marty Yo It sounds like you have a KZread education about Americans. Not all Americans are two paychecks away from being homeless, that is ridiculous. I am retiring at 57 and have never lived somewhere I couldn't afford, that would be stupid. I know many people that retired at 55. Every situation is different and I also know many people who could retire but choose to work just to stay busy; they don't need the money. Stop generalizing Americans and thinking you know about life in America because of comments you read on KZread. You have not been to every square foot of every country in Central and South America so you don't know that there are not people living on the street. If you do a google search for homelessness by country you will see many of the countries you say do not have people living on the streets have large homeless populations and you do not know where they live.

    America may be the richest country in the world monetarily yet, morally, emphatically, they have always been backrupt from the inception. America is reaping what it has sown, it's called & danced to the tune's now it's time to pay the piper. El Hajj Malik El Shabazz said it back in 1963-64 when JFK was assassinated, yet in a different way. "America's chickens have come home to roost." Sad yet emotions have no impact on reality. As long as the crack epidemic of the eighties was mainly contained on the Brown side of towns, cities and impacted Brown people it wasn't even a problem. After the translucent people's children and relatives began to frequent the open drug markets and became addicted then and only then was it an epidemic that needed attention. Meanwhile the legal drug cartels (Big Pharma, Dr's, Govts) are given carte blanche and are immune from even a miniscule of blame. My and everyone else's emotions in this entire world won't help, alleviate, nor eradicate this problem. It will continue as long as physical, lower vibrational humans walk this earth. Al far back as I can remember it was Richard Nixon who aggressively started the war on Brown & poor people, yet the semantics he used was called; "The War on Drugs." What a crock of bullshiggiddy... especially since this was clearly, obviously, unquestionably an open assault, stop & frisk, racial profiling, tactical operation.

    These are the component to create *Homeless Shelter Villages* [HSV] using _Pallet Shelter's_ existing HSV products: the _Community Room_ sells for $37,000, the _Bathroom_ costs $35,000, and the _Services Office_ costs $9,000. So for only $81,000 a city can establish a HSV. The two person _Shelter 64_ costs $7,000. 100 X $7,000 = $7,000,000. For $7,201,000 the city can establish a HSV for 200 residents. For $160 million a city can establish 22 HSVs to shelter 4,000 residents.

    E of Parts A-F In the on-site factories the homeless population's workforce is used to make more homeless shelters from plastic-waste taken from the oceans and government subsidized Styrofoam; and electric car conversion kits which cost only $3,600 because _The Defense Production Act_ was invoked. _Which does not include the cost of batteries and installation._

  • @KeepYourCalm13

    @KeepYourCalm13

    Not expensive at all in this current opiate epidemic, a single blue is around 5$, considered H is generally around 10-20$ a single small bag( some people shoot 5 bags in one shot of H). The blues r so potent that Heroin affects gladly switched to fentanyl which is made in a lab without needing the actual poppy plant). So the cartels have made incredibly potent fent blues and price keeps getting cheaper as more and more people become addicted every day. It’s on another level than H if that puts things in perspective to understand the cost to feed this habit. Lastly il note I’ve been sober 4 yrs on August 25th, luckily the fent was new to the seen as I got out of my addiction. It’s very true people have to want it and put in the leg work, but when a person is so strung out they simply r near incapable of functioning, a very scary place to b mentally. Sorry for the kinda long replie😉

    *In Europe* rent increases are limited to 2% above the rate of inflation *ONLY.* _In Mexico it is illegal to raise anyone's rent more than 5% per year!_ In the civilized countries of Canada and Europe guns are outlawed, citizen cannot be made homeless due to an unexpected $500 medical expense, free college educations are provided so predatory student loan debt does not make people homeless, and the global w@rming that is causing the destruction of housing, leading to 40% rent raises; is being addressed.

    Ending private banks and only allowing state banks, *public-banking,* to operate where the billions in profits are used to help the state's people not to enrich the top 1%. Is how we finance free dental and healthcare for all Americans.

    C The FEMA homeless-communities / encampments are _close enough to the city to work;_ *and far enough away from the town to be out of sight and mind.* Established on land now vacant due to the extreme weather events which is creating the housing shortage. Due to the catastrophic-runaway-anthropogenic-global-warming *[CRAGW] that Republiguns deny exists.*
