Is it an American thing to start the washing machine with only a hand full of pieces in it? In my country you load it up until it's jam packed and nothing more goes inside. Otherwise it would be a waste of water and energy.

Ideally you should fill it a little over 3/4 full, so that the load is balanced, but the clothes have room to be agitated by the water in the drum against each other. Packing it tight just means the clothes won't get as clean.

@@cecilyerker I always jam pack mine until I can about stick one hand in at the top still. Clothes always get as clean as can be. Maybe also depends on the power of the washing machine.

yes you are right but putting on a lot of clothes can damage them or even burn them...I already had an accident with my roommate p.s : i am french sorry for m'y english....

For some people they find it more ‘convinent’. I only use them when the dog makes a mess on the floor so I don’t have a pee covered towel 🤷‍♂️

You don't have to at all, the heat and movement of the clothing in the dryer will open it up.

Is it me or when in the laundry TikTok’s they put too much softener, scented beads, and drier sheets. This all due to added softener and beads create a waxier build up thus leading to clogged drums and the point of the wool balls is not to use drier sheets because they (dryer sheets) also leave a film making the clothes less absorbent.

There is one thing I do not get , when they are doing laundry they put a cap in the washing machine !??? Like what does that do ??? I need an answer before I go crazy I have not seen anybody do that before I'm so confused 😕

The tossing and turning of the clothes and the water help to get all of the product out, so nothing is wasted and the cap doesn't get all goopy

Why do they wash the dishes in the sink before they put them in the dishwasher??? That's what it's made for: washing them for you....

you should at least rinse excess food off of dishes before putting them in your washer, it prevents food debris clogging up your dishwasher drain and just splashing dirty water around Ideally the dishwasher is intended as a “sanitizer” it will never be as thorough a clean as hand washing

Hello, it's called Febreeze. It's just a spray to use in fabrics as a "refresher". Kinda like an air freshener spray or Lysol but for linens.
