Talking of random acts of kindness, we live in North Texas and in January of this year, 2022, I was laid up in the hospital for 5 days due to a heart condition. My wife was with me as much as the hospital would allow, which meant she wouldn’t be eating properly nor would our pets be cared for. Our grandson and his wonderful wife jumped in their car and drove for 12 hours from Knoxville TN to take care of his grandmother and the pets. I never saw them as they weren’t allowed into the hospital. They had to get back to work and school about the time I was discharged. Now that’s a nice act of kindness to drive that far for just a few days to ensure grandma and the pets were taken care of.

It only takes one thoughtful act to change a strangers life for the better. But be the one who gives help unseen, not just help to be seen.
