Saw veer savarkar today... Still in shock and restless since the moment I left the theatre.... We as a nation have failed savarkar ji , but not anymore Randeep sir deserves more than a national award for this movie... Disappointed by the govt for not supporting the movie and also with the right wing actors of bollywood for not standing with the movie

I am a Maharashtrian recently visited Andaman, cellular jail, when I entered the place where Savarkarji was kept, I removed my sandals, I touched the ground and tears started coming out of my eyes. Since I new the greatness of Savarkarji. Other people/non Maharashrian were looking at me with a surprise. Now thanks to Randip Hudda, all people will know the greatness of Savarkar ji and will have same feelings which I felt when had gone to cellular jail.👍👍🙏🙏🙏

I must mention this - the hall echoed with claps during the closing credits!! Our hearts soared with pain and pride.

I stay in Abu dhabi, I insisted two of my friend to come for this movie, they thanked me after watching as they were earlier not so interested…and it was a movie full of goosebumps and sadly the irony was only 9 people in the theatre

Maharashtrian's shouldnt be all seen in same brush, most Maharashtrians are casteist with strong anti Brahmin hate for no reason. Since medieval times it has been Brahmins of Maharashtra who have been instrumental in fighting the Islamic invaders and then Britishers time and time again. This current hate is fuelled as Brahmins are a minority, so not a votebank and they are not going to come back to harm as most of the Brahmins themselves are nowadays Marxist inspired fools

I am a Maharashtrian, feeling sad and ashamed, we always try and bring our Marathi Bana and importance to our language however we couldn't get together to give such a luminary figure the respect and love what was expected. We are such a hypocritical society who keeps pushing our Marathi agenda however doesn't know how learn about & love our motherland from our home grown revolutionary. Hats off to Randeep Sir for an excellent subject and great acting. The rawness of the film was very disturbing, making us think what are we doing of our freedom when such great men have laid their lives. Thanks a lot Sir for this.

I feel the same, a generation of this community raised the Maratha empire, produced greats like Veer Savarkar and so many gems, did so much for Bharat and us now, squabbling over petty politics, trying to milk our ancestors achievements to the last drop, lack of integrity and zero striving for excellence. Feel disappointed and helpless at the same time. We only talk, our actions and efforts are a joke, myself included.

I didn’t knew Randeep Hooda is so intellectual until i watched this podcast. He has studied the life of Savarkar so well so that he can do justice to the role. I don’t think any other actor can do this type of study and hardworking. Hope this movie does well.

I saw it, and theatre was well occupied . Actually the screen numbers are so much limited , and timings are so odd evening time . That's why movie is not earning that much well. But the thing is still it never comes down below 1 crore even on weekdays . Crew movie is pathetic might be it will earn 25 crore lifetime which will cover the budget (20 crore)

Typical Puneri behavior- nitpicking on pronounciation. Tumhala dekhil changlach mahitiye ki Randeep mulat Marathi bhashik nahi, tyatahi tyane movie madhe "Saagara pran talmalala" hya kavitechi 1 ol tari bolaycha prayatna kela, ani akkhi movie dekhil tyane produce keli, hich khup mothi goshta ahe. For a non-marathi person saying those sentences for the very first time, his pronounciation was quite well.

I have watched the movie, and I urge all Hindus to watch it as well. We should know our history and recognize those who fought for us. Gandhi, Nehru, Jinnah, and others did not care about Hindus or their past; they only cared about themselves and Muslims. We should acknowledge and pay tribute to Veer Savarkar and all the Hindu brothers who sacrificed their lives to protect Bharat Mata or Akhand Bharat.

Don't lie!! Netaji opposed both Savarkar and Jinnah. It was Savarkar who said in his last interview that "“There are many factors, which contributed to the freedom of Bharat. It is wrong to imagine that Congress alone won Independence for Hindusthan. It is equally absurd to think that Non-Cooperation, Charkha and the 1942 Quit India Movement were sorely responsible for the withdrawal of the British power from our country. There were other dynamic and compelling forces, which finally determined the issue of freedom. First, Indian politics was carried to the Army, on whom the British depended entirely to hold down Hindusthan; second, there was a revolt of the Royal Indian Navy and a threat by the Air Force; third, the valiant role of Netaji Subhas Bose and the INA; four, the War of Independence in 1857, which shook the British; five, the terrific sacrifices made by thousands of revolutionaries and patriots in the ranks of the Congress, other groups and parties.” Savarkar was just another political leader for Netaji, not an inspiration. Do not insult Netaji.

That performance really resonated with me, reminding me of what my grandfather told me about Veer Savarkar. His story truly reflects the struggles of one of India's greatest freedom fighters. Additionally, the remarkable performance and direction by Randeep Hooda added another layer of depth and authenticity to the narrative, elevating the entire cinematic experience.

I Just watched the movie... And I want to say that the movie is like heartwarming. There are no words that can explain the feelings. Every parent should take their children to watch the movie, seniors, colleagues, friends should watch this movie get everyone should know about the egoistic, selected political persons who devasted our Beloved Motherland Bharat Mata and Akhand Bharat. Those people also corrupt the education system which never ever provides the fact, truth of the Indian past (that is not history).

Today I watched the movie. My 13 years old from MH board was relating many names in it with history book. And elder son with ICSE board was not having much knowledge of Indian history. Thats why I took my children to watch the movie. So they will know the real history too. Its our responsibility to know and respect our real freedom fighters. Lot of injustice is done to Veer Savarkar . But I felt sad, there wasn't a single poster inside n outside theatre 😢😢😢

Yesterday I saw the movie and I can say that Mr. Randeep Hooda has given justice to Savarkar ji., full intense movie and full of truth ❤❤

They give proper references from Nehru’s books, Ambedkar’s books and other valid sources which you can cross check yourself. Watch it, research and then you can decide which version of history was true n which was one side narrative. Do not blindly believe on left wing or right wing media n narratives. Unless you do some basic research yourself, you will be brainwashed by others. Educate yourself!!!

This man, Randeep Hooda such an underrated gem. I have rarely seen such a versatile actor, performer on screen. He doesn't get enough good projects to display his brilliance. Bollywood is a place full of double standards. He should try Hollywood may be. As an actor or performer, the amount of hard work and effort he puts in one movie I wonder if some actors (including the beneficiaries of nepotism) put it in their entire career span. Bollywood doesn't deserve this gem. He in true sense is an inspiration for budding actors. His passion to get into the skin of the character, i wonder if any other bollywood actor works with the same passion and intensity. I hope he keeps getting quality work which brings him in the limelight. Best of luck Randeep ! I will always pray for your success.

I am watching this podcast 2nd time after watching veer sawarkar on zee .Must watch for every Indian.Missed to watch it in theater but was shocked that we did not know about such great personality .

I hope it is remembered forever, I really do. But sadly it does matter. It sets the tone for others to make movies like this. It is also an indicator of what Indians are truly like - and what content they want to consume. If brain-dead masala movies that not only have zero intrinsic value, but also contribute to a collective brain-rot among our youth can still make gazillions, then I truly truly hope this movie is successful in the long run. The 'big' production houses and actors (who are busy whoring themselves out promoting Gutka and Gambling) have never made a movie like this in their lives, not only because of their moral bankrupcy, but also because they are completely empty and have nothing of any lasting value to give - they exist SOLELY for money, regardless of how much already have, it is never enough. Only if movies like this can succeed will their monopoly be broken. Sadly we're too stupid and brainwashed as a people, and prefer to have gutka promoters and dancing whores as our idols.

Watched the movie. Great performance by Randeep. The most touching moment was when he met his brother in jail. Can't explain... but the irony, mirth, innocence, sadness of that scene is still haunting me days after the movie. Great effort as a first time director as well. Wish him luck. Only the representation of the young Savarkar was little simplistic.

​​@@hrishikesh9030 Savarkar ji encouraged Hindus to join british army so that they could get guns, arms ammunition as well as recieve military training. Because back then majority of british army soldiers from India were muslims and perhaps Muslims were looking forward to urge the then Afghan ruler to attack India because british were busy with world war and hence it would be a bit easy to conquer India. If he attacked India, there was no guarantee that Muslim soldiers in brit army will protect India instead of supporting that ruler. So Savarkar ji encouraged Hindus to join army so that Hindus could be strong enough to protect their motherland. Also it was beneficial Hindus to join army, recieve military training and then leave the army to start a mutiny. And he didn't support any Muslim league or khalistan. Instead he wanted Akhand Bharat.

Bowing down to Mr. Randeep for taking a leap to show the great Veer Savarkar

We saw this movie on second day of Holi. I would rate it 10/10. For a moment I didn't feel some actor was acting but I was seeing Veer Savarkar ji live. Kya dukh jhele. At that time youngsters were having strength of body mind and soul. Their goals were so clear. Mr. Hooda deserves all credit for such a successful movie. God bless him.

I hope people realise the extent of this man's contribution to the truth of Indian history and legacy.

This man is such a gem, his love for craft is incredible... The charm with which Randeep talks about the movie and veer savarkar is probably the sole reason that is enough for me to go and watch this movie ..

@@RahulGunjal07 yess ofcourse I love books so much. Currently I'm reading a marathi book ' mahanayak' which is based on NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE 😊 and written by Vishwas patil. Actually when I was in school, I used to read a lot of book. In 10 th std, once I asked my Library miss for a book of savarkar ji ' 1857 war of independence ' but for some reason she denied me. Same happened with the book ' गांधीहत्या आणि मी ' by gopal godse. Now I know the reasons behind it🙃.later due to entrance exam preparation I was unable to read. Now I started it again 😊😊

Freedom fighter ka meaning bhi pata hai ki kya hota hai.....marte dam Tak desh ki azadi ke ladna .....yaha to bhaisahab ne mafi magi .... pension li ....aur British ke side me ho gaye..... British ne kaha partition ka support Karo... congres ko oppose karo....hinduo ko bolo army join kare... muslim league ke sath alliance karo ..... Watched the awesome movie.Was a mind blowing experience. Brilliant &crisp story telling, and excellent execution and acting.Hats of to Randeep for this par excellence initiative. 👏

Man deep respect for this guy for his dedication and clarifying what Savarkar actually stood for and clarifying history for whole world. Thank you 🙏

After listening this podcast I was in theater next hour and can't express my feelings about Veer Saverkar and your acting as him. I was awestruck by his character and resilience towards Bharat Mata and Randeep ji did full justice to that character. I really hope and wish more and more people go and watch the movie and our Veer VD Saverar get full respect and attention what he deserved so far. Thanks ranveer again for such content sharing with us. ❤

@@bobby1087 Watch a video on Lallantop channel where a leftist historian from JNU debates a right historian Vikram Sampath about Savarkar. They give proper references from Nehru’s books, Ambedkar’s books and other valid sources which you can cross check yourself. Watch it, research and then you can decide which version of history was true n which was one side narrative. Do not blindly believe on left wing or right wing media n narratives. Unless you do some basic research yourself, you will be brainwashed by others. Educate yourself!!!

Just watched this movie today.... Randeep Hooda has absolutely nailed it.... National award deserving acting.... Must watch movie.
