Ranchers, agencies restore fish habitat in Pole Creek watershed

Mike and Mark Henslee of the Salmon Falls Ranch worked together with the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and multiple state and federal agencies to restore fish habitat in the Pole Creek watershed.
The creek is located in the headwaters of the Salmon River, where endangered salmon travel 900 miles to migrate to the Pacific Ocean and return 2-3 years later to spawn a new generation.
The award-winning project was funded by the Bonneville Power Administration, NOAA Fisheries Pacific Salmon Recovery Fund and many other agencies. Nice work everyone! It's quite a conservation success story!
