RP, the (going to be) King of Gaming is back! Happy new year my friend. May 2024 be in your favour, you deserve it! 1) You said, you generated a new map? Is there some kind of seed, you could share or do the oil spots generate randomly? 2) Good choice to get rid of the chickens, they cost more than you earn from them and feeding them is a nightmare before you build the silo. 3) If you really want to go into farming, wait until you got the funds for that. You need 2 pricy vehicles and 3-4 extras to attach to them, this is nothing you do at the beginning. Plus, it takes several ingame days for the crops to grow and mature. 4) Dairy is a good way to start, esp when you go for cheese. You don't need a full setup at the get go, nothing spoils in this game (yet). 5) I know you might not wanna hear it, but pigs will be the best source of income, before you can go for oil, dairy and farming. 6) Oil is a nice way of earing passive income, but costly. Building material, fuel, Jerry cans, barrels... etc. 500 $ for a 50 l barrel is nice, but you'll need 4-5 (empty) ones if you don't wanna go every other day to empty your well. I found one close to the general store and one behind the hardware store. That one is tricky, cos it is a bear breeding place. If you go there, always approach with a loaded weapon and a cooler. I'm very positive you'll manage it! You're awesome, you're the reason I still start over or rebuild my farm, you are just too inspiring. Thank you for the new run, looking forward.

How you can get oil spots on the patch of land just off your property is to keep starting a new game and check out the location after every new game starts, and eventually, it will randomize there. The spots are random to each new game, so the only way to get it to be where you would like it is to keep starting a new game. It is not seed-generated, unfortunately. it's always random lol me and friend loaded in a handful of times until we got both the patches right next to the general store for our next playthrough

@@kd7418 That is awesome! In episode 2 of this new playthrough, I mention that the second oil spot on my new season 2 playthrough map is behind the hardware store. Another great location.

@@RPGamingPlays yep it is, my solo game i had one there and one by general store. was great i just ran a barrel back and forth and didn't worry about driving until i had money to buy like 4 barrels for each spot and didn't need to turn in oil daily for profit

More to do? I can't even keep up! Haha. My chickens and pigs are banging like crazy. I'm interested to see different and strategic ways to build the ranch. My gameplay is pretty much trying to demolish and rebuild so that I have a good flow through, conveyor system when producing sausage meat, that it lessens pedestrian and driving time between things. I wish they would do something about planting or growing trees and having actual 'PAUSE' on the game. I don't like that you can't chop all the trees on the property. Didn't like the rabbit quest at all. EDIT: I also hit ESC 😆

Please excuse my bad memory but I believe it was you who got motion sickness playing the game (???) There is a motion sickness setting, I'm not sure if it was there before. And thank you for starting a new play through. Your last series convinced me to buy the game yesterday. Now if I can just drive the damn vehicles. LOL Happy New Year!!!
