i feel the same, the need of closer connection to own's spirit is must for creation of any form of art. RK definitely has that as an artist.

I absolutely adored the fact that Ranbir tried to interract a bit with the audience before they asked their question. Asking them their names, what they're aspiring to do - the simple act showed so much depth of character and humility in him. These are very admirable qualities in a celebrity of his standing. The line goes like, "Maine Yehi Socha Hai Aksar Tu Bhi Main Bhi Sabhi Hain Sheeshe Khud Hi Ko Hum Sabhi Mein Dekhein Nahi Hoon Main Hoon Main To Phir Bhi" The writer (Arjun Rampal) projects himself with all his ebbs and flows into the character (Ranbir Kapoor) he creates. The writer is an egoistic guy. Not vulnerable to life and very defensive when it comes to love and self-acceptance. This obscures him from providing a satisfactory closure to his work. The female lead helps him to understand this idea of being vulnerable to truly create meaningful art. This is what I understood from Roy. And yup, I actually appreciated it.

I watched Tamasha in theatre. At first my reaction was like everyone else," what the heck? Why is this so boring?".Most of us didn't go to theatre expecting to be schooled about philosophy of life and a journey of self-discovery.Usually people expect a Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani or Bachna Aye Haseeno from Ranbir and Deepika and not such a deep thoughtful cinema. It actually made sense to me when I went back home and watched it again later.The essence of the movie is not understood by many.People wanted to be "entertained" and not introspect their lives.I love the movie Tamasha.Ranbir should be proud of Tamasha.

As Anushka said RK is very inquisitive. Its very good. His Interview proves that really he really asks question that whom he is talking with, his name, profession after that he answer the question very carefully and humbly. Media is very sensitive he knows. Its very positive point of him.

What I loved about him.. 1- May be the only actor who has guts to sacrastically take on his flops. 2- the way he interacts like asking name and what they do. 3- it's so good to listen to him. Excluding his personal life, Ranbir is an amazing actor. He’s probably the best male actor of our decade and probably his generation. He knows how to use is craft. I’m honestly not mad that he has a easier journey into Bollywood because he’s a star kid.

His answers are so thoughtful and articulate. Time just goes by when you hear him. Even 1 hour doesn't feel like it.

aravind kumar it takes a lot more than mere Bollywood flicks to win a national award and the award winners like Mohanlal and Kamal Hasan or even a Konkona Sen are better actors. Ranbir is a good actor, no doubt, but still got miles to go to reach the other people's calibre. Bollywood is not the be all and end all of Indian cinema. If you're limited by it, then that means you've not been exposed to better movies which explains your reasoning

He talks no shit! What makes him so great of an actor is his efforts. He MAKES AN EFFORT on his craft, despite being from the most reputed family of Bollywood. He is SO DOWN-TO-EARTH with respect to his craft. Marvellous!

Can we just appreciate the fact that not just his answers but the questions that were asked were brilliant as well. It's after such a long time that I'm seeing such an accurate interview. I wanted to see more of it.

I just watched Sanju and I absolutely agree with Ranbir about Sanju at the start I was excited but the moment he started telling his story on screen I completely forget that it was about Sanjay Dutt and started treating as a character for a movie and at the end it was like oh shit this was about Sanjay Dutt and I think it was because of Ranbir's acting and amazing performance, hard and super dedication that made it entertaining, inspiring crazy story so much believable and it's just a must watch Movie

I'm a very huge fan of SRK but i don't want to believe him when he says "I'm the last of the stars". I can already see Ranbir Kapoor continuing the legacy of Kapoors as Superstars. He's in fact the best actor (acting wise) we have in the industry right now, regardless of the stardom of other khans, Kumar, Roshan and Devan. He deserves as much as love if not more than SRK❤
