The interesting part of the show is how a muslim adapts in a non muslim country,then they just went full sjw and the uncle is gay the sister is whore and the guy is selling out and the father is drinking,they removed the interesting part,that is like if walter white gets face tattoos in season 2 and his wife becomes a pimp and his son hires soldiers for the gang.

It talks about how we have different beliefs and that’s ok. You’ll never believe in what I believe in and I won’t ever believe in what you believe in. And that’s ok. So you have your path to walk down in this life and i have my path to walk down in this life. It doesn’t tell me to fight the non-believer. It doesn’t tell me to hate the non-believer. Nor does it tell me to go onto a comment on KZread and ridicule his belief and say “Jesus help you 🤦‍♀️” and be petty. It simply says “you go your way, and Ill go my way.” Salaam Wa Alaykum, May God bless you and your loved ones.

Having grown up Catholic, I heard this higher ups and all the congregants say that even an innocent child would go to hell for not believing that Jesus is God. Astaghfirullah. Where as we believe that if Islam hasn’t reached you, then you will be judged based on your actions on the final day.

Yall HAVE to watch Ramy if you haven’t seen it before! Definitely watch if you’re a fan of Atlanta, Bojack Horseman, and Fleabag. Even with those comparisons, Ramy is so fresh and nuanced and definitely so hilarious. You’re lucky to be able to binge 3 seasons worth!

Literally just binged all 3 seasons of Ramy the past 2 days and it's one of the most tragic comedies I've ever seen. A masterpiece in itself. I learned so much about Muslims in this show, and how important the faith is for them than any other medium of entertainment. This show is radical. Radical-cool not radical-radical.

When I saw the time I didn't have much expectations but after watching 10 mins Ramy could do 2 hrs easily.

Rami's great in interview. His show is a MUST watch. It's great comedy (cast is great) but it's so much more. They sink you into their culture in SUCH an enjoyable way. All this stuff was so foreign to me, it's not represented in the media and on shows. The show endears you to the man, his friend and family, his people and their culture. I hope they go for several more seasons. WHERE IS THE NEW SEASON!? Oh shit season 3 just came out! Guys gotta work on the marketing! Hulu didn't feed it up to me. Damn. Gonna binge the first 2 seasons to refresh.

The show and Ramy are both exceptional. Plus the cast is also super talented and great. The actress that plays his sister *May Calamawy) character is so great and beutifull and his friend (Mohammed Amer) is phenomenal and has his own show which is also worth a watch.

I watched Ramy since the golden globe buzz and just loved it and this one was genuinely wholesome, BTW you talked about Iran but i want you to do a short about Iran or as a whole segment or episode, you had Iranian guests on your stands ups all over the world and Canada in particular cause i can say that i watched almost 99% of your standups, i would provide you materials and factual news and backstory to all of these if i could get a contact info to you Andrew! You have always been so informative about the Middle East and I don't agree with Ramy in that particular idea that you don't know shit about us, I would love to see you talk about it more, it runs deep into the US government as well.
