03-05 for me. Was probably the same place for us. They started this construction when I was leaving and I flew back through in 06 when I was deploying. Didn’t get a change to get off the plane and look around tho.

We were in Germany, Neubrucke 28 miles from Ramstein, 90-93 and Ramstein 96-99. I visited Ramstein again 2019 for two weeks and will visit again in 2023 or 2024. Thanks for the video.

It's a really nice BX. The base also has a airport for tons of planes, a commisary, housing, schools, gas stations, etc. It's a cool area to be around I would highly recommend visiting the Kaiserslautern area. You can also find a big mall In downtown K-town.

Daniel, I've been a subscriber for a while. The first video I saw was your visit to Landstuhl. I was stationed at Ramstein AB from 1968-70 and met my future wife there. She was a dependent who had graduated from K-Town High in '67 and worked in the base library. Our 50th anniversary is coming up in August, so I guess you could say it worked out. We've enjoyed seeing how things have changed in Germany for military families, especially on Ramstein. Our BX back then was maybe the size of a Best Buy, and now there's that monstrous mall. I also can't believe Ramstein has a high school now. I was about to comment and ask if the military had new grooming rules because I didn't think a soul patch was within regs, but you answered my question in that video where you explained how you and your wife got to Germany. My wife is an AF brat and I'm an Army brat who spent six years in Germany before I was 15 years old (Frankfurt three years, Stuttgart three years). Both of us are products of DoDDS (I graduated from Paris American High School in '65). My wife and i went to Germany in September 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of our first date, which was to a sports car race at Hockenheimring. It turns out that they had a race on Saturday, Sept. 19, the very day of our first date in 1969, so we booked a trip and visited all our old haunts. Anyway, keep it up. We're enjoying the vicarious visits.

Damn, I started kindergarten in Landstuhl and Graduated from Ramstein back in 03. When they were just breaking ground for that thing. Didn't think it would be that huge.

Wow. I am so jealous. What a huge difference from when I lived there back in the day (85-96). It just doesn’t seem right having all all that. Doing without all the stateside luxury used to be part of the experience of being stationed abroad. What a trip seeing how much things have changed. I really miss K-town. Thanks for the post

I noticed when I visited the KMC area Nov 2019, there is new hospital being built (outside of the KMC gate) to replace the one in Landstuhl. There are roundabouts on base and the overpass going from the northside to southside has been removed. I visited the Enlisted Club three times (Fri-Sun), it was like being in a library.

Man a lot has changed when I was stationed in Italy in 2014-2018. There was a long John silver, Johnny rockets….we watched 13 hours of Benghazi at the theater when it came out. That Italians spot is new.

I was 12 k's away from "79-82" & it looked nothing like that! I'm glad for the military now that it's better.

I remember when the movie theater used to be across the street from the BX, and it was a single screen. I lived there back in 89-94.

I was there from 2009-2016 and I remember when Popeye’s came to the BX and it took nearly an hour to get through the line to place an order.

If you buy a TV in the base can you receive PAL Signals from local German TV Stations like Bayernfernshen Grafenwöhr München Augsburg Hessenfernshen Wiesbaden and SWR Kaiserslautern and Stuttgart or stuck on NTSC AFN Channels. Even though they're 110v 60hz 220v 50hz capable.

You need a military ID boss. Someone needs to sponsor you on 🪪

We acheived more balance and equality in specific areas with this method. However, when we travel from such distances to figure out matters we have too many people doing some sort of warprofiteering or claiming intel observation that is incorrect. Misaligning ground mechanics observation existence.

Its suggested thee children have been extracted from a prior hostaging or secured as they were just somewhere however and secured to the base exchange from someother place in the world. Then they mechanically in crisws recover back to ua in humam condition. We would prefer to keep them, getting them well, and sorting the mechanical investigstive matter with a team that knows how to search and sort matters like a calm well thinking well trained as its so on the minute watch mechanics of the airport.

Get t-mobile, I have lived in Germany for 3 years with my US number. T-mobile started here in Germany, you'll need the Mobile One plan or whatever it is now.

Great Question. There's a couple options. If you want to keep your stateside number I would recommend downloading WhatsApp and talking to your cell phone data provider about using WiFi to make international calls through the App. WhatsApp is how most international folks communicate with each other because the countries are so close in distance and it saves money on international calls/texts from country to country. You could also cancel your current data plan with your cell phone provider with your orders (don't let them charge you an early cancx fee). Then you would get a new sim card and international plan through TKS or Telekom out here. These are the two most popular options but I've heard of other solutions. As I type this extremely long message it just occurred to me what my next video blog should be about... lol. I hope that helps a bit 😬

Which location is better as far as restaurants, homes, malls etc. Stuttgart, K twown or Ramstein. I'm a GS employee considering relocating to Germany.

Ktown is “little America.” It has everything you need with regards to those items. Food from all over, large malls and outlets, and you can probably find a nice sized home there 👍🏾

Wow The BX has grown since I was last there in 2008-2013!!!

I used to work in the food court as an overhead 3 years ago. Really nastolgic.

This is much different from when I lived in Kaiserslautern from 1997-2003.

Was there from 2003-2009 and they were f*cking up building that stupid @ss Mall my ENTIRE TIME there. SIX+ YEARS TO BUILT THAT.

Which airport is closest to this AFB? I’d be flying from Turkey to do some shopping

You have to have a military ID But I think the requirements for getting a temporary pass onto base is you have do something at one of the gates but you have to have a family member with an ID

The kind who received the money while in crisis that didn't exist until someone says, come wiith us here putting them in crisis has no idea what is being discussed. The people whom do the work are never repaired or compensated in reimbursement for concept of secerecy repair or support. So we had to fund it twice balanced on the other side to improve human condition concepts in specific areas. Later people wouldd abduct us saying they understood the mechanics but misread them.

Error #2: There hasn’t been a Shoppette for several years now. Bun D’s (formerly where the sushi place is now) took over the old space Shoppette area. Notice the entire wall of freezer doors.

Actually Ramstein has 2 Shopettes. They have one in the KMCC mall and also a standalone Shopette around the back and off the traffic circle that has a fuel station. I was stationed there from 2015-2019.

Yeah they just closed the one in the KMCC in like 2020 and Bun-D took it’s spot. They just have the gas station shopette. I’m here now 2017-present.

Next issue. People saying you feed this kind incorrectly who are not a part of US secerecy who misalign our financial support contributions to people in thee US military, misaligning mechanics and then claiming the person had a bribe. We constatly hear how some are suffering and in need of financial supoort and we do so with good consideration, but outsiders are making incorrect intel claims and observations as their was no request for anything in return and we didnt want them using our mechanics we needed them to abstain and keep their own mechanics. The kind or type in mind at the time was kinds who did our safety protection mechanicaly or naturally. The second kind was people who whom supported in human type condition repair alignments in specfic colonies, remedying matters.

Well, not only does he not know shit we beleive he is part of asset theft activity in the US that undermines the US with concept or claim of types overtaking the US.
