He did not perform well in the preseason. Perkins was easily better in two preseasons compared to him and was discarded.

It's fairly obvious that Stetson Bennett will be the Rams backup quarterback while Jimmy Garoppolo is serving his suspension. They have no other choice. So you'd better hope Stafford doesn't get injured early or that Bennett steps up in his role.

Atwell's value is on special teams. Let's see how the new rules affect his contribution. He is not shabby as a WR.

Yeah RAmily last year he made plays that we needed the most in games Sean McVay, even in his press conferences says he loves tutu so I don’t see him getting off the roster, but you never know

I've been trying to figure out why they always down Tutu. He made the best of his opportunities.

After watchinf a lot Whittingtons targets snd discounting ones that werent catchable, i think hes a bit of a sleeper. Needs to work on his hands a bit in some of his open looks he let go through his hands but hes got fight in him

A customer told me yesterday he heard on the radio something about Bennett is supposed to be on some medication and the NFL testing was having issues with it and apparently needed the year to work out the solution. The question concern was, can he perform at the NFL level on a different medication he wasn't used to or sure of it's effectiveness. No idea of the source (i did ask) or if he made it up, but he shrugged and said only told me because he knew I was a Rams fan. Interesting take, if I had to bet I would have gone a different type of medication, but I can see this fitting equally well and supports the hush hush of it all.

When are we going to get a whole episode when the guys just discuss Monopoly Go!? It’s what everyone wants. They could even livestream them playing it! 😂😂

It's a prove it season, and it could be a short season real quickly

I think Evans has problems picking up blitz packages and that's not a good thing if you got a 36-year-old QB or any QB.

Only “surprises” I have on the O side is Whittingham and Stoops making WR, Rivers > Evans at RB, Limmer at backup C.

He was placed on " reserve/non-football illness list" for an "off-the-field personal matter" "For something bigger than football" 🤔It's clearly not an injury or illness or criminal issue. It's been described as a personal issue that should be kept private. Since he's been known to have a drinking problem in college, all the clues/statements all seem to lead to this conclusion. The most recent statements: "Looking forward to getting him back and seeing how he's feeling. And we'll just take it a day at a time with him," "He’s done a great job being engaged in the meetings" "he has a good look in his eyes" 🤷‍♂ If it was something that Stetson was doing on purpose, they would cut him and not bother. But with alcoholism, the organization and the league will give a player a chance to get better. Help him get some help to a point. It's just my speculation of course.😉

'Cause Jimmy G. is unable to play games1&2, they are hoping & pushing Stetson to be 2nd qb for 2 games. Methinks Jimmy G signing was a result of Mayfield/Wentz excellent performances. They know that the rest of team is playoff caliber and don't want a Stafford injury to, practically, fully negate that chance.

So not even gonna talk about the defense. sigh.

Evans hasnt shown any spark at all. Get rid of him.

The thing about Evans is that he's got the best foot speed of all the rbs, the only real home run threat. In many cases year two is when players take the biggest step forward, so I'd give him this season to establish himself or I'd move on.
