@@Wthele as i said i'm sry you haven't found a way to teach discipline without smacking people in the face. also, i don't even know if it's a way at all. when i think about it, some of my least disciplined friends were hit by their parents.

I had a father like rampage. Critical and used force to control me. I am now a 33 year old man with a lot of resentment towards my father. That form of teaching me didn’t help me to become more self disciplined. It just taught me to not trust him. I am actually struggling to stay disciplined as a older man. It didn’t work.
