Love how he is so proud of his Pride strap and literally doesn't say a word or even acknowledge his UFC belts

Yeah because what matters most is the effort given by Henderson which gave him the most benefit to himself in building character.

You earned every penny and I hope you have a good financial adviser who looks out for your best interests in the future so you and your children can continue living well and if not I'm available. You won me over not just with your fighting but your care of your kids (especially posting a chore list) and your stay positive attitude. I wish you the best Sir.

Having a career fighting is a hard paycheck, especially his style where you drop bombs and either go down or they go down. I have respect for these fighters; he definitely earned his possessions. Everyone has different tastes/preferences, so I'm guessing the haters are just jealous.

Rampage has always been one of my favorite fighters. He has to come off like a beast most of the time, but like in this video it shows another side of him that's laid back real cool, and seams real greatful for the things he has and for the life fighting has provided for him. And if you watch a lot of his videos he's always tells people to stay up and stay positive. Real down to earth polite dude that would smile and shake your hand. y'all might think I sound corny but I think he's cool as hell. Respect to you Rampage.

Josh you are a man that understands business. Most people respond with emotion like teenage girls and not their intelligence. The money is there at the UFC and those guys are Just as greedy as boxing promoters. People say its taking over boxing but they are young and don't realize that boxing is OLD MONEY. It's well established and people with real wealth invest in it that's why boxers make so much money and MMA guys don't.

An athlete in the dying sport of boxing can buy all of this after a fight. Dana needs up the fighters pay. Longtime champions should be getting paid 3-5MUSD a fight, not 400k-800k. It's a freaking joke. We're not in 2005 anymore, Dana. Can't stand the guy anymore. I know that Rampage is passed his prime, but holy crap. Only fighters like Silva, GSP and Jones can get a serious endorsement right now.

plasticboy81 He fought 11 times in the UFC, won the LHW belt, and competed in one of the biggest grudge matches in the company against Rashad Evans. He made $15.2 million dollars in disclosed earnings from the UFC, not including bonuses, sponsorships, and other shit. Who gives a shit.

Plus nobody is there own boss or PPV star. Pacquiao or Floyd can push their own PPV and collect a percentage and their purse. Dana controls everything at UFC no matter how big the star is, that's why so many guys left unhappy.

lets compare what low tier boxers make to UFC then we'll talk. Also, MMA is a relatively new sport in the west compared to boxing, which has been around for ages. Give MMA the time it takes to grow and eventually the fighters will be making much, much more than boxers.

Carbon Bonds You have to understand business and not fighters before you can talk boxing vs MMA. Business deals are made between promotions and mangers, fighters, advertisement companies, venues, etc. Fighters in boxing negotiate Purses before they bust a sweat training, fighters at UFC specifically because it's the most known and the biggest are given purses and maybe a bonus for winning. You have split your purse with your corner which was cool when MMA did not have a corner team but, now they do and it can be expensive. Now if you have your team, taxes, and your promo company digging in your pocket what will you have left in 5 years if you make it that long without getting injured? Think about it 10 years ago how many guys were around and check up on them now. Boxing has a load of sad stories, MMA will have more because the pots are too small.

PsychoticDreams0 Exactly, if your not in control of anything all you have is what they want to give you. You never get what you deserve, you only get what you negotiate.

+Altair Ibn La-Ahad Yeah every title match a new belt is made, whoever wins gets it. So if you have 9 title defenses you have 9 belts. GSP gave the first one he ever won to his mum, the second he kept for himself, and every one after that he gave to someone that had helped him win it, be it a trainer or a friend.
