it's pretty tedious, I've stop going in. I'll just drive to New Haven, Woodstock Wooster to see whoever playing. It's frankly easier and all people from this 70-80 era are at those shows so more relaxed vs Williamsburg everyone trying so hard to pretend like it's Soho or the village in 73-74

I'm pretty sure we don't want so much poverty in NY like it use to be, and I'm not for gentrification either. I'm just saying: may be the usa could look at modern countries with better social policies....

As a die-hard fan of the Ramones I must say that I find really concerning... ... That I haven't found this earlier. Amazing job! Energetic and punk. It has the Ramones all over it. Fantastic!

Best Ramones show I went to was August 1986 at the Living Room in Providence, Rhode Island. it was 105 degrees farenheit outside. Inside it was hotter, and packed to the limits. DeeDee was squinting the whole time because the sweat on his forehead was rolling down into his eyes but he never stopped playing to wipe his face. So much adrenaline in that room.

I got to see Dee Dee in Copenhagen around 1995 or so. They played 90% Ramones songs, more than 50 songs in total. The concert lasted just above an hour. Wild.

I had tickets to see the Ramones back in the early 90s. Outdoor concert,.around 6 acts that evening, and it was to start at 9pm. The Ramones were the main attraction as well as Debbie Harry. We were running a little late, no big deal. The other bands were really nobody important. We show up right around 10 pm. Parking my van we can hear music in the distance, but it's faint because of where we had to park. Walking up to the gate, the music got clearer. It was the Ramones. Jesus H Christ. For whatever stupid ass reason they put them on first ! What kind of idiot does that? We basically got to our seats as the Ramones were coming off the stage. Blondie was on right after. We stayed and watched her and then we left. That was such a disappointment. And that was the only time I ever saw them live. All two minutes. It was bloody ridiculous.

Another fine animation from stelos 485. The Ramones should have had their own animated series; their songs were that much fun.l

Only a native New Yorker could draw a cartoon about New York or the Ramones like this. I miss it too. I. grew up there in the 20th century, but the 21st century has been a nightmare.

The original idea for "Blitzkrieg bop" is actually animated (You can read about it in the box set, "wierd tales of the Ramones".) Just saying to the creator here... maybe something to sink your teeth into!?

@@ReluctantStallion have you read any of the Ramones books ,like Dee Dees 'Poison Heart - surviving the Ramones ' ....'cos in the '80s it was only how fast Johnny was playing & Joey couldn't fit the lyrics in that gave me any indication something was wrong ....but didn't realise how bad things were , it may have helped if they could have stood up to Johnny's attitude ....but anyway once Dee Dee left ,for me the band was over... You can't just replace the main writer & most people's 'favourite Ramone' ... if you listen to the 'bass side' speaker of the first lp you can almost turn Johnny off & enjoy Dee Dees ability with bass melodies .

This brings tears of joy to my eyes... Great work !!!

Loved this. One of my favorite Ramones tunes and just in general. Aren't they America's Beatles? So glad I was able to see them before they went away to Rock N' Roll Heaven. I saw CJ play with them but he was great. Marky is as well and made me get behind the kit.

20 times !! Wow ! I probably started working on this in May 2009 eventually finished it in Late spring 2017 . It’s a long boring story why it took so long but really appreciate it’s around for people who’ve enjoyed it .

Thank you Mega . The style is a mix of limited animation and full animation. All hand drawn . The more drawings there are the smoother the animation will be . But also this means it takes more time ..
