In this performance there are no cameras scanning the audience, no crazy antics or goofing off, no pyro. Everyone is concentrated on the music, the song, the performance. Till Lindemann is an awesome singer and an excellent actor you can just feel the anger in his voice he literally while performing becomes the person he's singing about. I read where he said he likes to get inside the minds of these sick people and to understand them and why they did whatever they did so in essence he becomes that person. That is why he is so good at what he does..Till Lindemann - Rammstein are the total package excellent strong and beautiful vocals, great commanding presence, awesome stage design, lighting and pyro, the best guitar riffs and the most talented musicians in the world. They sing about topics that no other artist would ever touch even with a 10 ft pole. They do things others have never done or even thought of doing.. they are and always have been way ahead of their times...❤️

The most intense part of the song for me is always when Till sings "in reality" 8:14 and the music falls silent for a short moment and it becomes clear that something like this really happened and probably still happens somewhere.

That line about planting a little sister in her always gives me the worst kind of chills. I don’t know how Till can essentially turn himself into the worst parts of humanity over and over again, and yet still keep his sanity and his own humanity.

I think many of us were waiting for you to get to this one. Till at, for me, his most terrifying. I love this performance - it is helped by some good camera direction from the TV broadcast. The lighting is so claustrophobic, the staging so simple. No fire, no gimmicks, yet possibly a definitive Rammstein song. It is obviously performed to be enjoyed by the audience, yet it somehow remains respectful to the people involved (I understand they got clearance from the victims to perform the song). It is a very special performance for me, thank you, I'm glad you loved it as I do.

This is one of the songs I have been waiting for you to react to since the beginning. So, thank you and thank Tomek. 🖤 This is definitely one of the heaviest Rammstein songs, both musically and lyrically. However, I am still waiting for "Puppe" (album version, please!!, not live). For me, personally, it is the heaviest song, not only from Rammstein, but in general. It's not based on a true story, but it is very disturbing story. But the story is not even the heaviest part of it. Ah, I really cannot explain it by words, you need to hear it. That song is something special (to me). I really, really hope you will react to the studio version of it. About composing process, you should check out Richard's interviews available on KZread. I have learned a lot about the band from them. Anyway, they all come up with ideas, Till writes lyrics, but they all have to agree and that's the hardest part. If only one member doesn't agree or doesn't like something, they are throwing it away or changing. I can only imagine how tiring and hard it is, but that's why their music is what it is. And also that unity is the reason why they are still together and have never changed a band member. Richard said: "At the beginning we were friends, then we were colleagues and now we are family. There is a difference."

@@duncanmccann2715 Well, it is great but there is not a live performance on KZread with good sound yet, and sound is very important for this song. Also, there is only one first time to hear a song and in my opinion "Puppe" should be heard first as it is - album version - and after that you can watch live performance as well. I would really like to see Andrei and Dominica's reaction to the album version. If they wish they can do double reaction or react to the live performance afterwards. I definitely agree that they should watch it.

I know I'm late to the reaction party ...and it's probably been mentioned here somewhere else, but I think it's important to note that they got consent from her or them to use their story....... I've learned that... the hard stuff is the important stuff - Nothing was ever gained by ignoring, hiding and/or denying heavy stuff like this .....I truly believe it is important TO shine a light on the disturbing things ...that are hard to think about and, talk about (the right way like Rammstein, in my opinion they excel at this).... Only then can we BEGIN to try to understand how these things could happen in the first place and the motivations behind it...Shock factor can be a powerful tool but , in my opinion shock should always be met with meaning (when dealing with disturbing life things at least)....aaagh sry, rant over ! Anyway ..really love your reactions ❤ ! Peace and love from a long time Rammstein fan in Iceland 💜 🤘

I have heard that they asked if it was ok if they release a song based on what happened to her..from what i understand it wasn't exactly necessary but they still decided to get her permission both out of respect and to cover any legal problems just in case.. When they first started performing the song they used to have exploding dolls. Which they stopped doing I believe because they got contacted by either the daughter or her lawyers, I'm not 100 % sure all I know is that I would see them using exploding dolls in the beginning then kinda just stopped..so that's just my assumption.

Are you ready? Welcome to the darkness To the darkness Nobody can disturb down here No one, no one can hear us No, people will not discover us We let life taste good And when you are alone at times I'll plant you a sister The skin so young, the flesh so firm Under the house a love nest Are you prepared? Are you ready? Welcome to the darkness To the darkness In the loneliness In the sadness For eternity Welcome to reality And are you walking in the deepest valley?(Are you prepared?) And are you there without light? (Are you ready?) Fear no misfortune, no agony (prepare yourselves) I am with you and hold you I hold you in the darkness In the darkness

Till always takes the most disturbing angle, here the incestuous father, the victim's experience is offscreen, our mind is much more efficient in imagining the horror this woman has experienced. I find this way of avoiding trivialization of the subject. in his poetry or his songs, Till explores and exposes even the unmentionable or the most disturbing desires of humanity. very often, he does not impose anything, nor personal opinion, he is a soul storyteller or he embodies a character, or tells a story. we always end up asking lots of questions about why and how it can happen, how far a human being can go, we all have this dark side that pushes us to be observers fascinated by this kind of story. in short, I think that everyone interprets what Till say or recount in their own way and we can only judge by our own experiences and our own desires or fears. personally I like to be taken out of my own bubble of perspective and perception, and I think that it can perhaps help to better listen to others, better apprehend danger, etc.

It's hard as f**k, yes it is, but unfortunately it is also reality. There are so many bands that sing about the sweet life or other cheesy nonsense, we've had enough of them, they lie to us about the beautiful life and we take refuge in this warm, beautiful embrace. 99.99% of all films have a happy ending, people try not to show bad things so as not to spoil the children. Maybe there needs to be more bands or artists like Rammstein who tell the truth and draw attention to injustices. Unfortunately, it is still the case that one in five children worldwide is abused. How many children do you know personally? yes, I mean you, who is reading this right now. think about it.
