Rammelsberg mine | Goslar in the Harz | Germany
The Rammelsberg mine near Goslar in the Harz Mountains has been a show mine since 1988 and is a World Heritage Site. Silver has been mined in this large mine, which is well worth seeing, since the 9th century. The tunnels lead horizontally into the mountain. We take a small mine train into the mountain, walk through tunnels and see how the miners work here.
