Ramjas School R.K. Puram recently held its Annual Cultural cum Sports Day celebrations at the Thyagraj stadium with grandeur.The chief guest for the programme , Ms. StutI Narain Kacker chairperson National Commission Childs Rights applauded the efforts of the students. . The two guests of honour were Mr. Kumar Gyanesh DCP Delhi police and Mr. Jagat Kumar a 10 time Mr. India recipient. The programme was also graced by the presence of the members of the Ramjas Foundation and saw a large turnout of parents. The school Principal, Mrs. Rachna Pant presented the school annual report highlighting the accolades and laurels won by the school. The cultural programme began with lively vibrant performance by the Nursery & KG students who danced enthusiastically to the peppy tunes. The programme tried to showcase India�s diversity and the students talent through various dance performances. The sporting spirit of the school�s atheletes was displayed through track and field sporting competitions. A spectacular march past by the different houses was staged as a competition and was judged by Mr.Shamsher Singh, NCC officer. The students of the primary school conveyed a message of women empowerment , need of physical fitness and discipline through a well coordinated martial arts drill. In this event more than 1400 students participated .The achievers of the school were also encouraged through a prize distribution ceremony.The programme ended with a grand finale which included different forms of Indian dances with a western dance on some popular tunes.. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
