Season 1 the show was still world building (we were learning whos who) nothing really happens until eliot executes the 5/9 hack, Season 2 and 3 more stuff actually goes down. I agree that its better if you wait for all the epiodes to have come out the watch it. Although season 1 does have interesting episodes like the ones with Shayla's dealer and etc. but for the most part its world building/character building. And it all pays off in the next season(s) and you'll tell yourself how clever this show is trust me its good!
