I think Conan is quite good, he‘s also the only one who doesn’t make fun of people who want to teach something, for example about animals. Fallon & Co are always exaggerating their fear or disgust for laughs, it’s actually more than annoying, why would you invite those people and have them prepare their bit, if you don’t even care at all.

Id agree if I did not know how the business worked. Most talk shows are recorded earlier in the day and then cut and edited to go on air later. When done that way the interviewer and the guest have a more time to play with and they can have a discussion. Then that discussion is cut and edited to put the best parts on the air. Jimmy does not have that luxury and has to get so many questions asked before the time is up. He is live and that plays heavily on discussions like this because remember this is not the place for a long form discussion. Most of the expedient feeling or intruding is probably coming from the producer in the back basically telling him in his ear how much time he has til commercial and to move the conversation forward. They have to air the clip. Remember in the end this is to promote the movie and not talk about Rami experience as much as we would like. Thats what shows like, in the actors studio and podcasts are for.

I love how humble he is and how grounded. I love that he was more concerned about getting the approval of Freddie’s family and band mates than the awards. Obviously he was pretty stoked about those but he’s got his priorities straight.

Oscar nomination prediction is encouraging indeed. Most will not recall but Jimmy was a super fan of Mr. Robot and during the first season, he told Rami that he was guaranteed an Emmy win in season 2. That worked out. 👍

Yeah, I've talked to a person who has met him once and they said he's the most down to earth, pleasant, normal guy who definitely didn't let fame change him. They said they've even had a nice conversation about Mr. Robot and life in general, with a total stranger who just ran into Rami on the subway iirc.

my mom and sister met him and said he was super sweet!!! the one day I choose not to go into the city with them and they meet one of my favorite stars :( but the pictures they took with him were cute!! I have hope that one day Ill meet him

Rami Malek is one of the most underrated actors I have ever seen. He has some recognition, but he deserves so much more. Much like Tatiana Maslany. Both amazing actors who deserve so much more recognition than they get.

On that note, I would watch anything with Tatiana Maslany and Rami Malek. Throw in Matthew Rhys and Patricia Clarkson and I’m in for at least 4 seasons.

While watching Bohemian Rhapsody not for a single moment I thought this was Rami Malek. All through the movie I only saw Freddie Murcury. Really mind blowing performance he did there.

He's the most humble actor I've even seen on television. He deserved the oscar👏👏👏

It's not to be rude. It's because of time. As the host Jimmy has to keep it moving. Or else the guest can talk and talk and then all of a sudden, segment is over and he only answered 3 questions. So in order to get all of questions in, Jimmy asks, gets the answer and then moves on.

Ben Hardy literally embodied Roger Taylor when he was told that he had to do the crazy difficult drum solo. Ben locked himself in his trailer and wouldn't come out. Roger locked himself in a cupboard and wouldn't come out unless Freddie agreed to having his song, "I'm In Love With My Car" on the b-side of Bohemian Rhapsody. I love how perfect this is

Even trying for such an exuberant and larger than life persona of Freddie Mercury is a big achievement. But I'm sure Rami nailed it too. Can't wait for the movie. Have seen the movie. He definitely will win the oscar. Getting nominated is the bare minimum. He was flawless!

Rami is a national treasure, his performances in the Pacific and Mr.Robot are truly incredibly powerful and i have a feeling Bohemian Rhapsody is going to be his Magnum Opus.

Jimmy came across pretty rude on this interview. I get that he aimed for a casual conversation but nevertheless, I can not stand those constant interruptions. He knows better and I have seen him better. Fallon does this all the time...

I like the way when Rami says that Freddie couldn’t dance “He’ll tell you this” as if Freddie could appear on the show next week and be interviewed! It’s as if Rami has been channeling Freddie so completely he still exists in the present tense for him. I suppose all actors have to get into that mindset when playing a real person to make it convincing.

I thought Malek's performance was brilliant, and I've been a Queen fan for nearly 40 years, I cried my eyes out the moment " Who wants to live Forever" started. It brought back memories of the day Freddie died in 1991 , my best friend died 2 months before so brought it all back I never shed tears for any other celebrity in my life except Freddie Mercury. The film does have annoying Inaccuracies but Rami Malek deserves an Oscar.
