I don't know if it's just more confidence now after being in such a successful show and then a movie, but in older interviews (such as after S1 or S2 of Mr Robot) he did seem more quiet, and dare I say it, Elliot-y. Maybe it's just bias from us watching him as a character and seeing some of that come through? Though it wouldn't surprise me that an actor that gets so into his characters picks up some of their mannerisms. Hell, I pick up mannerisms just from reading a book or watching a show, this guy has to basically be them for months at a time.

can i just say the two of the characters he’s played are completely opposite of each other. Elliot Alderson was quiet and anxious about everything, but Freddie on the other hand was wild and always full of energy. Good Job, Rami, you are the best actor I’ve seen in a while.

I’m the toughest critic when it comes to television, sports etc but mark my words: Rami Malek has the potential to be the best actor ever. He’s better than Pacino and De Niro were at his age. From “Mr Robot”, to “Papillon”, to “Bohemian Rhapsody”, his range is unmatched. He is beyond amazing.

The very first time I seen him was when he was in the movie Twilight #5, the way he smiled at Renesmae(?) was simply sweet, and from then on, I have been a fan..
