My raptor is at the ford dealership right now, having the same Sport Bar installed and when I’ll go to pick it up, I will make sure to pay attention. Thank you for showing us these issues.

This is why they say don't tighten everything until it is ready to be set in place... you should be able to loosen the bolts and center everything.

Thanks, got mine installed n the guys didnt think a tonneau cover could go on it, i told them theres videos out there but ill be showing them this. 👍

Looks like a chevy avalanche with that roll bar

Loosen the bolts and line it up better then re-tighten while aligned

Nice and awesome truck, but my OCD will kick right in as well. Hope the shop can get it centered for you or manufacturer can send you a replacement with installation covered.

How do you feel about the rollbar, these years later? I want to buy it but was wondering what should i be pressuring the “pro installers” to make sure they get right when installing it

Anyone know how the rhino bar compares to the mopar or other bars in terms of alignment and fitting. The rhinos do not seem an easy fit.

What size bed is your truck? i just got a 22 lonestar but it is 5"7 box and im not sure if it would look good on the short box. It looks good on your truck though, so if it is same size as mine i will go ahead and pull the trigger.

Totally agree the bar is shifted to the right as you pointed out. Did you get it fixed?

Ya, this took me awhile to center just right. You gotta loosen/tighten and readjust it over and over until you're satisfied. Also I had to add my own drill holes cause it didn't let me tighten the bolts on to the bed right. What kind of beam patterns did you put on for the rigid lights? I'd like to see a separate vid of the lights at night and the beam pattern.

The sports bar 2 is great looking, Just a question with the crew cab, how functional are the lights facing forward at night. Does the roofline block most of the usable light being so far back? (I was thinking of doing a 3 forward / 2 back setup, but not sure the forwards will throw usable light as opposed to using a bull bar or a led strip in the lower bumper. thanks.

The tape between the front dood and back it’s black under that will match ur truck very easy to take it off heat gun and fingers I like matchy match

I understand with the OCD I have a 2019 ram warlock with a revolver X4 cover on it I’m thinking about getting that sports bar I would most definitely have to have everything lined up even

I ordered same bar yesterday for my 23 ram but with 8 3 inch rigid cubes 4 spot for the middle then 2 flood for each side

That normally happens when you over tighten before you mount it to your vehicle. Keep it as lose as possible.

Hello, 1st off, excellent video but I have a question. Can the roll bar be installed and then add the retractable light bar afterwards with out to much trouble? The reason I am asking is I am going to put the bar on my truck but want to add the retractable light bar when more funds are available to do so.

Yes. Very easily.

Installer fucked up. I did my own install on my Gen1 Titan w/actuator, everything is symmetrical and I LOVE it! Getting one for my 06 F250.

You can definitely tell it's not centered. I would definitely take it back and have them fix their mistake.

I guess i have OCD also, i had the same issue ended up taking it off and returning it..lol..

For some reason it looks like an avalanche to me

Fire the camera mam, jeeze your gunna talk about the sports bar you added, but not even give a good shot of it from the front

I dont think it can be fixed because of how it's mounted.

the installers probably tightened the screws and bolts that hold the sports bar together first before installing on the truck. Those connections are meant to be tightened alternating the from side to side after it is mounted to the truck bed. They also probably fully secured the right side and then tightened the left side resulting in the straighter connection on the right side. You should slowly alternate sides and tighten the bolts like how one would tighten the lug nuts when putting a new tire on on so that one side isn't pulling more then the other.

It's not the sports bar it's the bed went Through the same thing

Whoever fabricated that didnt take the time to make sure shit was right, thats what happened lol

They did same thing to my truck at the flee market when I had it installed but Juan fixed it for a corona and a taco

Damn that sucks when youve payed for something and it doesnt work !!!

tell me you dont know how to work on anything without saying you dont know how to work on anything... just loosen the bolts up a bit on everything and adjust and tighten stuff down slowly to keep it from pulling on one side or the other.

Get a better switch I had same problem got a digital switch

Bad install didn’t even measure it did install by eye they drill into your truck which makes it worse 👎

actually what I am seeing is that the base of the bar is even on both sides according to the bed rails but the top of the bar is off center and I believe they are (slightly) adjustable for centering. Also as far as the bed cover goes, I believe that it itself is off center on the bed as I have the same exact one. I think the rails on the bed cover and the cover itself are canted slightly to the left causing both issues.

All those useless mods for that riced out pickup and you're still using a plastic insert liner rather than a spray in? lmao just trade it in for a Durango or Explorer. Love, the internet.
