I Had the AT3s on my 2017 Ram 3500 SRW and they were hands down the best Snow/Ice tire i've had. I now have a Ram Dually and was planning on putting AT3s on that when ready. The main reason I bought this tire is handling on snow and Ice, I like the look of the 255s

I am old school and would rather have it like you did and only add a little height and be able to get in the truck easy and keep the gas mileage down but I would add the spacer of 1/2" to have room between tires for the snow to flow.

Do you know of a hubcentric 1/2” spacer? And I fell you! I used to always level trucks but then you looked so dump towing with so much rear squat. You need that oem rake.

Perfect video. I just got the exact same falken 255, but seeing how close it is, i am second guessing my choice and wonder about returning them. I always drive fully loaded, and in right terrain. Treated on rocks, loaded, and it didn't touch but it was about 2mm of space. So how has it been since your video , ok?

100% ok. And if you need to get back to OEM spacing or very close to it, a 1/2” spacer will work with enough threads on the lugs to throw on

When you change your rear fuel filter to the Cat filter. Will you lose the ability to heat your fuel in the winter before starting?

  • @neckofthewoods24

I don’t think that’s a thing. We heat our air in the winter at the manifold but not the fuel. The DEF fluid I think has a heater though.

I have a 2018 3500 dually. I haul a 3800 lb truck camper that's before it's loaded up. Have you thrown that kind of weight in the back of yours yet and see if they touch each other on the back?

So far so good! I did lose space between them but it’s more than enough to be ok. Only time will tell though if I load say 5,000lbs in the bed or a really heavy trailer. If they squish to close, you can get spacers up to 1/2” that’ll work and still use the oem stud length.

I have the same wheels on my dually. I didn't want any weights put back on because they're ugly and damage the powder coat so I used balancing beads instead, they work awesome. Also you should delete your truck and you'll get way better mileage and your oil will stay way cleaner.

I saw those. I thought about them but a guy who owned them talked about the noise down low and scared me away. I’m sure my paints gone now underneath them. I might delete. Haven’t heard of more MPG but everything else seems good. Issue right now is used ECU’s that are like $2500-$10,000 without knowing if they are good or not. I really wish someone would break the ECU already!

80 psi. You dont even know what you are doing. That is for max load rating. If you are hauling heavy, 5th wheel , bed ball. Slide in camper etc. There is no reason to run 80 if you are diving empty. Look up setting tire pressure using chalk method
