Ralph is my neighbor and has been for the past 14 years. He is the most compassionate and kindest person I've ever met, and that's all that's important. He spreads light and love whenever you see him and always has an encouraging word. We all love him!

I rode the G train in NYC every week with him when I lived in BK. I never let on that I knew who he was BUT the strangest, nicest thing was he acted like he knew me and made me feel like I was the famous one. This man is pure gold and one of a kind. Rich blessings to him for being kind and just plain NICE.

Ralph is also my neighbor. We bump heads now and then. Always with a smile. When he's not on his cell phone he would always stop and chat for a while. Very friendly with everyone. When I first met Ralph I was introduce to him by a friend I was talking with who also knows him. He just happen to be walking by. He stopped and sat on the bench with us and we talked for about a half hour. Loves to tell stories and goof around a little bit, he's acts like a regular guy in the neighborhood. Now when I see him he always gives my a hug and a hand shake. We've grown to be friends. He treats my like a friend and it's always nice to see him. We live 8 blocks apart so we bumps heads pretty often. If you ever get to meet him you can't help but to love him. Always sweet and kind to everyone. Now he knows me by name. If I don't notice him walking by he would call out to me by name, from a distance just to wave and say hello.

Great singer. The place was packed, and there were two seats at our table so Mr. Carter brought his mom and joined our table. A wonderful night. I always loved his work on Good Times.

I agree. A big problem in society. Always a tug/neg and positive. This era, people are way too sensitive, arrogant in how they want to post. Also, beware that all these social sites and are 50/ 50. Meaning some are true stories, and some are simply tabloids, and 1 should sift out the not so true stories.

I applaud this Brother for unapologetically and openly supporting the African American community throughout the many years. While I'm sure wayward ambition could have easily moved his talents in his adult years...he, as the young folk say now...didn't chase the bag. Many of "US" forget...as I watched an interview of a well known Black actor on The View...who got agitated when asked about his experiences as a Black man in the industry. I thought it was sad. So again, Strong shout out to Mr. Carter for his love for his community.

I never thought Ralph was gay, but it really doesn't matter to me either way. He was an excellent actor and his legacy will forever be ingrained in American culture.

I loved the show and I understood why JJ hated everyone. James wanted the focus to be on black people doing more for the community like the younger two children. JJ was a talented painter but the writers only wanted to focus on his silliness and make that the main part of the show. I think the talented love togetherness, and strength of the family dynamics should have stood out more but thats what most people remember about the show.
