Reasons for Sebastian Loeb losing his Monte Carlo wins is 2002 Illegal Tire Change at Day 3 as time penalty when Tommi Makinen snatched his first Subaru win and 2006 Sebastian Loeb fell into a trap that almost lost his chance to win Monte Carlo at day 1 but thanks to restart rules that he could fight till 2nd place when Marcus Gronholm first Ford Focus is in superior pace to win and also championship threat

Restart rules are rubbish. I stopped caring about wrc during 2001, but this event made me not being interested again in wrc. If you crash, you crash and you're out of the race.

@@Snarl616 they did time it right tho (albeit not intentionaly) since the number of teams and available works seats decreased massively during this time

@@zepter00 Mitsubishi weren’t a team in 2006. They left in 2005 . And I agree to some extent that these restart rules had to come in with the lack of manufacturer teams in the competition. They need to rethink that if the number of teams increases again
