Excellent video I took a photo of the Cosworth hitting the tyre wall at Knockhill and watched the Escort cosworth with the broken throttle cable at the Argyll rally (me camera ran out of film😢)

I also have a set of photos of that Cosworth crashing at Knockhill, was delighted that I told BBC Sport who turned up 5 mins before stage start and set up right in front of me that they could sod off and film elsewhere..... :)

Broken throttle cable IIRC was Neale Dougan with poor Doug Redpath hanging on in the engine bay. The Cosworth at Knockhill I think was Mike Ramsay & Monty Pearson?
Lovely to watch some old favourite cars of mine, shame those Grp A & N Mazda 323 4x4's were more successful. Being a previous Chevette owner (just the 1256cc OHV type), I felt sad seeing that crash at 3.49. Thos Legacy's were awesome. Many thanks for posting

Sorry you have to put up with a couple of short ads on this completely free video, thankfully most people are happy to watch with adverts so that we can get a little bit of money back for the thousands of pounds we spend getting this footage that we post up for free.
