Raleigh Durham International Airport RDU Planespotting with Transcontinental Arrivals and High Winds
Had the opportunity when I was visiting Greensboro North Carolina for a job interview to drive over and scope out RDU. It's pretty nice, there are two main runways. You'll see the international arrivals from Paris on Delta 767 and London from American with the 777. Also seen is Southwest fleet including "Maryland One", Enjoy and let me know what you think and what questions you might have. This was taking from the parking garage with the wind coming from the North. Runways are 5L and 5R. Make sure to like and subscribe!!!!

Airplaneguy33 I found it the second time I went....this was the first time. I noticed that for arrivals from the south and north departures it’s hard to see a lot of the action or take off roll

Yea you are exactly right! I've been there, but the problem is sometimes if you have traffic arriving south...it is hard to see them landing cause the terminal is in the way. But it is a great place.

@@piphastings6734 Terminal 1 is going to be slightly expanded and they are talking about expanding it even more to 21 gates and terminal 2 is planned to have 19 new gates

Hello Stefen I used a canon RX800 it can shoot 1080 up to 60fps
Where are you standing when you taken this? This is 1000x better than the shitty observation deck.

HA! Yes the observation deck is AWFUL. I agree 100 percent. I took it from the top of the parking garage there. much better view.
