Rakchham Village | Sangla Valley | Chitkul Trip | Kinnaur Vlog 2 (4K)
We recently traveled to Rakchham(Raksham) from 24th June to 28th June, hidden gem in Sangla Valley. On day 2 of our journey, we explored Rakchham village, hiked upto a glacier and a waterfall. This small and beautiful village gives you everything that you ask for.

We took Delhi - Shimala -- Narkanda -- Sarhan ---- Sangla --- Rakchham route and took us almost 16hours to reach our destination. The road condition was bad after Karcham but its under construction and would be smooth sailing soon.

For waterfall, yes you should take a guide. Glacier may not be available at this time. You can go with any local, they will guide you.

Thanks for sharing this. This is a simple but beautiful video. I watched it twice back to back 🙂. We (I and my wife) are planning a trip to Kinnaur in June and this seems exactly like like the place where we want to be. Glad that we found this video while researching for Kinnaur trip.

Are the rooms of kinner retreat clean and hygiene maintained? Would you recommend stay at this place for two nights?

we stayed there for 3 nights. Its a basic hotel with amazing views. but if you want better hotels with decent washroom wtc then there were 2-3 more hotels nearby this hotel which looked slightly better from the outside.

We travelled in 2021. Our travel approach was a bit hectic as we drove directly from Gurgaon to Rakchcham :) I would not recommend doing something like that

Budget is very subjective, depends on how you want to travel (self-drive in a car, 2 wheeler or public transport)
