I really hope Raka isn’t actually dead. He is the perfect link between Noa and Caesar.

I hope so too. I was hoping he would've emerged towards the end of the film alive and well just as Noa was rebuilding his homeland. That would've made a great ending.

@@ivantheterrible2594 it really would. I know after credits we hear an orangutan, but honestly I just don’t want it to be a blue ball moment like with Koba. Dawn did a similar thing at the end of the credits and people hoped Koba was still alive for War. But in the end that was false. Just don’t want that to be repeated with Raka, I was hoping he be the Maurice of this new trilogy.

I love how Noa wanted to learn about Caesar. Wanted to know who he REALLY was, and I’m sure he grew to admire him and his work.

The CGI on Roka's furr is the most real I've literally ever seen!

Maurice liked her and saved her. Caesar was going to leave her to die. She saved the Apes by accident. Her doll was infected and the leader of the humans. Played by woody Harrelson, but forgot his name got infected and he shot himself to prevent him from infecting the other humans. the human armys got lost, because their leader disappeared. Granted humans might of all died, because it was the avalanche that did them in, but he is smarter than the others and might of prevented it.

Muarice was impressed with Nova that he signs to her that she is very brave. Nova was not dumb, she was smart like Apes, and she learned how to sign, too. We never know the girl's real name, but then Muarice called her Nova, and she became his adoptive daughter. He had no wife or baby orangutan of his own. 😢 Muarice should've had a family if fate had been kinder.

I do lowkey/half-hoped they kept her sapience/personhood a surprise not shown in the trailers, have us expect 'em to just go on their epic adventure with a feral but clever human companion.

I wish raka survived to live with the eagle clan. He would teach them about Caesar and become the lawgiver like in battle for the planet of the apes.

After seeing this movie and while also rewatching the last 3 movies. It’s still surreal hearing all the apes speaking fluently. I know it takes place 3 centuries after the last movie but it’s still feels weird hearing every ape talk fluently when the only other apes we hear speak other than Caesar before this point were Koba, Maurice, Blue Eyes and Red. And their English was broken at best.

The CGI in this movie was great

Why does the best character in a movie always have the least amount of screen time.

Why was she following Noa in the first place? What did she steal from his horse? I mean she’s the reason why his village was destroyed and his father dead. Well wouldn’t blame her but those apes followed Proximus and he twisted Caesar’s legend. Caesar wouldn’t have wanted this.

Maybe she was curious, in fact Proximus didn't attack Noa's village because of her, he attacked the monkey clans that weren't with him.

From what I understood, in the beginning, she was only looking for supplies such as clothes and food. When she approached Noa clan, she realized that his group was the most peaceful she had encountered so far. Seeing the village being looted, she realized that this could be a chance to form an alliance with Noa to fight against Proximus.

Proximus would eventually find the village and destroy it this would have happen sonner or later.

@@BEBOP980 You’re probably right. Both Noa and mae lost their clans because of proximus troops. The two of them formed a pragmatic alliance and both technically got what they wanted. But, in the end, proximus successfully drove a wedge between them.

Ceaser did not have camp with this nova

Noa: GO AWAY! PEST! I understand why Noa chased Mae off angrily. She led Proxminus's gorilla warriors to his village and Noa lost his father, and everything Eagle Clan has worked hard to build over 300 years. I believe Noa was also mad at her for breaking those eggs he was supposed to take care of and raise the chicks for something important.

Raka should have kept his scarf
