Rondo is one of the smartest players ever. He knew Ray Allen was hot and he knew to keep finding him and to keep feeding him.

Everyone always says that he was carried by their Big 3... are we just gonna forget that he had one of the greatest individual playoff runs ever in 2010 and got them within seconds of a title? Same with 2012. He carried both of those teams well beyond expectations, when KG was limited with injuries and Ray Allen was sporadic especially in 2012. Playoff Rondo is amazing.

@@Stonecoldalston Nope. Bynum was out for the majority of the season. Lakers traded for Gasol and the Lakers were winning. No Lakers fan was complaining about missing Bynum. The Lakers won all their playoff series with ease. It wasn't until they lost to Boston that the "Bynum was injured" excuses started happening. Lakers had the majority of the season to adjust without Bynum and did that. Celtics lose Perkins in Game 6 of the Finals and had 1 game to adjust. The "Perkins was injured" statement stands. Bynum does not.

2008 no imo, but 2010 you can make a strong case. he consistently pushed the pace on offense and was much more of a threat to score by that point in his career. he was by far the celtics most consistent player in the playoffs that year and the offense damn near couldn’t function a lot of times when he was off the floor. hence why he had to play a ridiculous amount of minutes every game

the combination of Rondo's passing, Ray's shooting, and Garnett and Wallace setting incredible screens, it is a basketball clinic. Seriously, watch the screens those two big men are setting, their ability to pick and pop - both of them great shooters. Hall of Fame Basketball. The most upset I've been with the outcome of a series, any sport. Gasol!
