I was fortunate enough to see him in flesh and blood when he visited Mantralaya some where during 1979.He is such a simple man that he stayed at a choultry just like any other common man. He came out of the room to speak with a couple who are also on pilgrimage. I could see great admiration on the faces of the visitors who called on him. I was foolish enough in not trying to speak to him as I am a very very poor speaker of Kannada. I also fumble while speaking in English with other language people. But to my dismay, I later came to know that he also knows and speaks in Telugu as well. Thus I lost a great opportunity to speak with him. I regret for my mistake even till date. He is a divine personality specially chosen by God to entertain the populace. Some foolish people like me will not open the door even when fortune knocks at it.

When rajkumar died it was decided to finish his cremation next day due to this not all his fans could see him last time so it is said that there was absolute cheyos in Bangalore there was nearly a week bund and even shivarajkumar couldn't finish the final ceremony we can imagine how much love and craze he had among the people
