Aren't there better interviewers other than Mr Rajdeep in India? Neena is and has been a great mother to Masaba, who is so grounded. Mother and daughter are also so polite to this rather intrusive man who doesn't mince his words.

Not mincing words is fine but to keep the focus on somebody not there in her life any more and to keep saying‘television’ actor. As if it is somewhat less when a lot of Bollywood’stars’ vie for television shows.

@@lalitharavindran Yes to dwell in a 'time warp' is at best cringeworthy but his words are like an ASSAULT to my ears and potentially quite embarrassing for many, I'm sure. Perhaps the majority Indians revere such a broadcaster, who knows?

Yes, because they wine and dine with politicians and allow them to call the shots and use them for some publicity.

Neena Gupta was among my favorites while growing up........she still remains my favorite and is as charming as ever despite all that she has been through. Masaba like her mother is twice as charming........clear headed and accomplished......was such a joy hearing them speak their minds......Cheers to these two fabulous women!

This man Rajdeep Sardesai reminds me of the characters played by actors Lalita Pawar and Bindu in Hindi films.

I must say - I rarely comment on interviews. I was so moved by both the Gupta ladies. How beautiful and brave.

Both women are achievers in their own sense and have set an example by living wonderfully dignified lives yet the tone of entire interview was about the "relationship" and the "illegitimacy"

Mother and daughter are simply amazing!

One of the most interesting, endearing and sincere interviews I've seen in a long time!

Masaba is Not dark skinned at all, she is much fairer than many indians.and she is v beautiful.

What a lady Neena Gupta is and what an amazing confident daughter!! These women are much much better than the likes of Jaya Bachchan keeping a facade of happy family with no issues.

I really loved the interview . Whatever the fact both disclosed in openly . everyone have right to take their own decisions . This is truly incredible .

Proud of Neena. She had the strength to go ahead and bring a baby to life and never opted for an abortion. She took a step in life and made herself fully accountable till the end. And no child is ever “illegitimate”. Masaba is so intelligent. Too bad she lost on work due to repressed minded people.

I am listening 🎧 to Neena Gupta she speaks so well and giving logical answer to every question that was asked to her in a very strong and proud way and so as Masaba. Good to hear her for the first time luckily. Searched her After "MASABA MASABA" on Netflix.

Bravo 👏 to both the mother and the daughter so well brought up n full of positive...

Seriously! He complaints that Neena Ji is typecasted and defined by her one episode with Viv Richards and then goes on to start the conversation with the same topic. He himself complaints that people don't talk about her other achievements and doesn't do that himself for the longest time. Total waste of time of such amazing, dignified women. This Rajdeep is soooooo negative..everytime Neena or Masaba are talking about something positive..he will make another negative comment... Rajdeep: "Today's directors are bad" Neena: no they are good Rajdeep: No one helped you when you has Masab. Society is bad Neena: no people were nice also Masaba: Satish Kaushik was so nice..he is dusky and I am dusky...so he offered to marry Mom so that I could get admission in school Rajdeep: speaking of dusky...our society is so racist I mean stopppppppp...negative journalism! When was the last time you heard something positive in the news.

He represents our society. May be, he has a sarcastic undertone that how brutal our society is? These questions were thrown at both ladies on a regular basis by oueme society. I don't know why, but felt like he is exposing our society rather than insulting the ladies.

AND Masaba for boldly facing all the bullying and leg pulling during her teen years while growing up into this beautiful woman that she is now... Humble yet Confident.... Successful yet Honest!!!

Neena Gupta is really a conservative mother. She thinks that what she did was a mistake, herself got married and insisted Masaba to get married.But probably she wanted to protect her daughter from all heartbreakings.

Rajdeep shouldn’t be asking personal questions from Neena and Misaba. It is none of anyone’s business the choices people make for their lives. Leave them alone and choose a better topic to focus on people’s talents.

Akshay Singh he must have already talked about them about the subject. They are only talking about it which clearly shows that the subject was known by the guests. He is deliberately asking the questions that the society asks.
